Sigma Derby?

Hey VMBers! Wife and I are here in Vegas! Sorry I couldn't find it anywhere on the forum (having trouble searching with my phone) but is sigma derby at the MGM Grand still? Or anywhere else for that matter?

I know that there is one upstairs at The D on Fremont St...not sure if there is still one at the MGM anymore. Good Luck!

 

It was definitely still there at the MGM when I was there three weeks ago.

They even had it roped off for cleaning or repairs when I walked by it at one point, but it was up and running later.

 

Is it still in the same place at the MGM, right by the buffet?

 

The D still has it, 2nd floor.

 

Yep, about halfway between the buffet and the poker room.

 

As remmerde says, it is between the buffet and poker room now. They moved it a bit. Last time I played it there, there was a huge Avatar machine sorta blocking its view in one direction.

Yah, a friend of mine was at MGM not long ago and had texted me that my fave mechanical machine was gone. Good to hear it was just temporary, it seems.

 

I saw on Pawn Stars the other day that Derek was trying to sell his SD machine to Rick for $80,000. His expert said $30,000 I think so no deal.

 

Assuming this wasn't a PR stunt (probably was though), I am not pleased to see Derek attempting to sell it.

 

I did see it on pawn stars as well.. I can only imagine it was a PR stunt. but I could just see rick saying.. "I take all the risk, I have to figure out how to move it, and it takes up a lot of room at the store"

 

Definitely a PR shoot.

 

That machine is one of the main reasons I venture downtown occasionally! I hope it stays.

 

I'm glad it's back at the MGM, last time we were there it had been removed!
