Four queens had one at the north east corner of the casino.

That machine is literally everywhere. The ones I remember playing are at four queens and el cortez.

Binions bubble machine is near the sports book and the BBQ joint @ the back of the casino (as of May 2016).

Yup... found them in most places during my May 22-27 stay downtown. Played them at Binions / 4 Queens / El Cortez.

There were none at the Cal and MSS last trip in Feb. I stay mostly at the Boyd properties and I don't think the Fremont has one either but I could be wrong.

I've never played but I'm determined to give a go this time round. I've stuck a few quid in my Bet365 account to get a bit of practice!

once I opened my eyes I seen several downtown. The one at the Grand was my favorite one. I guess they are all the same but I actually won $$$$ on the one at the Grand.

Are the odds worse on the machine vs live play?

Do you mean odds as in likelihood of winning? It's the same. You will still 7 out after you finally pressed all your bets just like at a live table. If you mean odds on pass/don't pass, machines are usually limited to double or triple odds. Depends on the casino.

DT Grand has one, Binions has one, Four Queens has one, and El Cortez has one. We played on all those and did well most of the time. (our favorites were Four Queens and DTG. None of the Boyd properties ANYWHERE have them, and that's on purpose. Neither does The Nugget. I love that darn game!

Why bother? The minimums downtown are low enough that you can play a live table. Once you do that, you'll never go back to the machines.

I have opted for the machine over a table at my local casino when it was early morning and I wanted to shoot craps but wasn't quite awake enough to interact with people yet. It's also a good place to make some silly bets or play the dark side without getting dirty looks from other players. I prefer the tables myself, but every now and again, the machine has its place. I am a bit of an introvert and sometimes it serves as a solid place for me to sit down and take a break from people while still playing a game I enjoy.

To answer OP's question, I have seen the machine at Binion's and 4 Queens as September 2015. Good luck!
