Hello all, quick question: has anyone used this fertilizer in the past? I have heard nothing but great things (grows grass quick, grass comes out super-duper green etc) but started having my doubts since I hear it may contain heavy metals. Anyone here that has used it fear that the metals may get into your soil then through your pipes and into your water supply? Is that possible o_O

I've used Milorganite for 10+ years, I'm a big fan of it. When I first started using it they warned against using it in gardens, because of heavy metals as you mentioned. Not so nowadays, Milwaukee has tightened the standards on their sewage system. I use it on my lawn and vegetable garden.

It does have a smell to it at first and causes temporary staining on concrete.
