Anyone have any recommendations for low volatility penny slots that are still fun? Usually it seems like any time I find one that allows me to just sit and play for a while collecting points and drinks, it ends up being a game that bores me really quick.

Of course, a lot of the high volatility games are a blast...for the entire 10 minutes I play them before they wipe me out. I can never seem to catch those on the right side of the swing.

We plan to play VP for the first time on our trip to stretch the bankroll a little, but I know I will get bored with that too (damn ADD--I need lots of loud noises and flashing lights...lol).

The Cosmo had Rich Girl for pennies when I was there the other day. Diamond Run is my game, so it was pretty fun. It's a quarter or dollar game here, so I didn't feel cheap playing it at 9c a spin and felt pretty posh playing it at 225 (i think). The bonus game is my favourite and keep me entertained, and it is not high volatile at all. It's fairly steady. The section up front by the strip actually had a lot of older games this time and to me, they are much more fun than these new ones that just suck your cash.
On the other hand, I had 2 handpays at Suncoast so winning pretty much nothing after that was meh hahaha. I think the Golden Peach type jackpot games are going to be my new favourite. The jackpots really seem to pay when you get going. I only found those at Red Rock and suncoast though.

Older penny slots are typically good choices. I got sucked into "Texas Tea" for a few hours at Mirage for 9 cents a spin on my first trip to Vegas. Only lost a dollar and got :drunk:.

Other games that are fairly low variance are "split symbol" games like "Cats" and "Fiesta Chihuahua". Although I haven't played it much, "The Flintstones" doesn't seem to be too high of variance for a "new" game.

Generally speaking tiled wilds (and other tiled symbols that pay well) aren't good for low variance, paying on two symbols is a good sign of lower variance.

Jackpot Party! Any version! You can get the bonus on any line bet and the graphics are hilarious. The line pays are horrible, but the bonus is frequent and fun, so I usually only play 5-9 lines at max per line and power spin, until the bonus! You won't get rich, but great for a break from high volitility slits.

I like a lot of the old games, it seems like my $$ lasts a little longer They can be somewhat hard to find, a few of my those I still like are Shrimpmania, Lobstermania, Sea Monkeys, Mystical Mermaid. I do like the Rich Girls and Texas Tea too.

Lucky Lion Fish and Neon Nites, if you can find either anymore.

I am a music person, so I love the oldies like: MoneyStorm, Kitty Glitter, Cat's Meow, Shake Yo Booty, Ducks In A Row, Pharoah's Fortune.

Wow, a lot of old games I have always seen around, but never played. I do like Kitty Glitter, but only when I am getting bonuses (duh). It seems like sometimes I can play that game forever, continuously feeding money, and never get a bonus. Other times, I'm getting bonuses like crazy.

I was surprised to see someone mention Flintstones. I wonder if it's a different one than the one at my local casino. The one at my local seems to be the definition of volatility.

I love Kitty Glitter (or as my one friend calls it, Kitty Litter) and I do seem to get bonus rounds regularly, but for me I can't seem to make it to the third set of wilds, which is, for me anyway, when it REALLY starts to pay.

    The original Goldfish!

Lowest is 35c a spin if you want to play a while and still get bonuses.
That game has always been good to me.
    Love the Fish Food bonus!

Personally, I find Duck Stamps super volatile. However, if you are looking for it, Cosmo has multiple machines that have it in denominations all the way up to $25 a credit.

Good to know... I'll hop on at $1 or $5.... At Cosmo from 7/3 to 7/7. Thanks man.

I too find Duck Stamps volatile with the Bonus rounds, but I usually have enough line hits to stay in business. Cleo 2 is the ultimate in volatility.... I've buried several handpays right back in, like a jackass.

You've got some stones to play duck stamps at $250 a spin on $5 denomination. Even I won't do that.

Only when I'm on a run. My latest crack is 10 play $2 DSTP DDB at $140 per hand. I'm not a smart man.

Kitty Glitter is my JAM! That's one of the originals that got me into slots, and 10years later my love is still strong. Nothing like a re-trigger during the bonus round, and if it happens more than once, buckle up. :)

    - I also named all the cats. All the cats except the Persian.

    Now now!

Jerry's Nugget, in itself, is quite safe. I would not want to walk around the area, however. :)

I loved Jerry's Nugget!! I didn't feel unsafe inside there at all. I lasted about 1/2 hr at Silver Sevens before being sketched out and leaving so I am not that brave ;)

Sun and Moon/Day and Night is my fave low volatility game. I can grind on that for hours.
