does anyone have a slot golf scoresheet? I want to play when we go in June, but I can't find any examples of how to score it online. I'm not positive how the scoring would work. TIA!
taken from a previous post----------- Slot Golf is a game played on slot machines. Like golf, a game consists of “holes” and the winner is the person with the fewest strokes over the course of the game. In slot golf, each “hole” is a turn at a slot machine. A “stroke” is a pull on a slot machine. Play goes as follows - for each “hole” the player puts a $10 bill in a slot machine. The payer bets an pre-determined number of credits and pulls the lever. Each pull is considered a stroke. • If the player wins one or more credit on the first pull, the player’s score is 1 stroke. The player cashes out, which includes any remaining original credits and whatever was won on the pull. The player registers his score of 1 on the scorecard for the first hole and the amount cashed out is put into the money pot. • If the player wins nothing on the first pull, the player repeats the bet and the pull. This continues until the player wins at least one credit. For example, if nothing is won on the first three pulls, and then there is a winner on the fourth pull, the player records a 4 for that hole. Whenever the player wins his first credit on a hole, the player cashes out and adds the money to the pot. • This is repeated for 18 holes. • All players play the same or identical machines. In an ideal game, you play a hole at one casino, do some drinking, maybe gamble (craps, blackjack, video poker, whatever) and then move on to another casino and repeat. After 18 holes, the players are ranked according to their total score, with the winner being the player with the lowest score. The pool of winnings is distributed. Winnings will be divided based on a payout schedule determined by the number of players If you follow the above just make an Xcel spreadsheet with casinos listed across the top (determine how many holes will be played at each --say 3 holes at 6 different casinos--and create accordingly) and the players' names down the left column. Adjust the squares to make maximum size for scoring by hand and you have it. At least I think that is what you are asking.....Good luck!
We do this every trip. My wife made an amazing score sheet that has picutres of all the casinos and everything on there. I'll try and remember to upload it when I get home. Our version is slightly different from what is above. Here is how we play: The player who won the previous "hole" picks the machine that will be the "hole" at the next casino (variation: each player chooses their own "hole"). A "hole" may be any denomination agreeable to all players, and each player may bet any number of credits they wish. A player completes a hole when on a single spin they win an amount at least equal to the number of credits bet (e.g. a .50 cent spin on a .01 machine would have to win .50 credits). The number of spins it takes is the "score" for that hole (variation: capped at X number of spins - implemented after I once scored a 50 on a hole (and lost a ton of $ in the process). If a player gets a bonus on any hole, they may deduct 1 stroke from their score, however the score for any hole must be at least 1 (e.g. no "holes in 0") Variation: upon cashing out, the player gets the amount of $ they originally "bought in" for at that machine. Any excess winnings goes into the "skins" bag to be distributed to the winner(s) after the round. It is also appropriate to use the "skins" to tip CW for drinks during play. We did more than 18 holes, we play every casino on the strip from Encore in the North to MB in the South. It amounts to 29 "holes' I think if I remember correctly.
