Had it with the Morgan's, Taylor's and Brennan's? Those are last names to my generation.

I'm not saying these were great names but Loretta, Jane, Sally and Cindy are just not seen anymore.

    Who has some others?

    Matilde, Clementine, Bertha, Gertrude, Bessie.

(By the way I was born in 1873 and this is what the ladies were called back in my day.)

Brandi, Bambi, Crystal, Tiffany, Amber, Angel, Charity but, perhaps I don't frequent places much anymore where those names were popular...

I was born in the early 60's. Every time I encounter a group of ladies my age or a bit older there is always a Karen and a Kathy.

I too was born in the early 60's and my name is Karen :)

Middle name is Marie. During any discussion about middle names (which doesn't happen as often as you'd think), Marie was a popular middle name.

I just ran through a list of our friends in my head that are the same age group as us. 60s.

Debra, Kathy, Nancy, Linda, Rene, Susan, Karen and Mary. That's it, short list of friends. My older sisters were Virginia and Irene. I'm too old to know any Morgans, Taylors etc.

    My aunt was a Lorraine.

Well I'm a Heather as were 50% of the girls born in the early 70's. I have a Paytyn, Katie, Caleigh, Colt, Lucy, & Jax. If you can't tell I'm a huge Manning fan and when I named my daughter Paytyn in 93 she was the only girl with the name I knew of. But Lucy is an older name and she's the only one in her school with that name.

When I was growing up (late 50's/60's), there were NO other girls named Naomi. In fact, the only Naomi I knew was someone's mother. I knew a ton of Judys, Beths, and Debbies. Now Naomi is almost trendy. It always surprises me when I hear some young mother calling out "Naomi!"; in fact, I always turn around! (And then I think, "poor kid..." because it's a name you sorta have to grow into.)

As far as old names that used to be popular, I have (or had) aunts named Ethel, Sylvia, and Natalie.

GeorgeandTheBear.....no way, my mom's name was Josephine, and my aunt was Mae, short for Mabel. What a hoot, my mom was born in 1913.

Our neighbors when I was a kid were Fred and Ethel, like the Mertzes.
