I always use the presidential limo airport special. I have asked them to do a short strip tour when I have friends along. This time I am solo so I was thinking of stopping to get a bottle of wine and a bunch of seltzer (either la croix plain or Canada Dry ) to save some $ in the gift shop. I drink that instead of water, so need 5 or 6 12 packs. I know from reading other posts there is a place most limos stop. Does anyone know the name of that store? I would like to find out ahead of time so I can call to be sure they have what I want. I don't want waste time stopping only to come out empty handed. Also, will the Bellagio take a 12 pack of cans at the bell desk as is or should I bring a few nylon duffle bags to hide it? I am one of those who checks their bags and wanders around the casino before heading to the room.

Thanks in advance for any information. Since finding this forum a few years ago I have learned so much that improves my experience with each trip, win or lose. Thanks, Sonya!

The liquor store near baggage claim has decent (not discount) pricing for wine. As to soda, that would be another story or stop. Making sure the valet handles soda or wine well is always a challenge. There are lots of drugstores on the strip, but the Bellagio is probably the furthest away. There is a large one on the southside of Planet Ho

I usually use the one at baggage claim, their prices are lower than the strip. I have found the convenience to be worth it. May pay a couple dollars more than going off strip but it saves a lot of time. Vegas time is important when you get Vegas ~ 3 times/year.

Thanks for the tip! I emailed the liquor library with my specific requests and am awaiting a reply. I saw you can pre order and pick up, saving even more time.

    Man, I live this board.

It is a small store. You walk in, get what you want and pay for it.

I am thinking a preorder MIGHT take more time because they have to find your order. Just sayin.

The Liquor Library near baggage claim is VERY convenient, but you will pay a bit of a premium for that convenience.

I suggest that you stop at the CVS at the intersection of Paradise and Harmon. It should have what you need.

Any of the local CVS or Walgreens stores will offer value as well. The ABC stores in the Miracle Mile shops at PHo are a good option, too.

I just got back from Vegas and one thing I notice that I didn't notice on previous trips, was that a lot of people checking into hotels were lugging cases of beer and liquor and then I realized, these folks must be saving a TON of money from purchasing drinks from the hotel. This is obvious enough but I never really thought about it. Great idea for the next trips!

There's a Walgreens on the Strip right in front of the V/P complex. I walk there to grab some beers for the room whenever I stay at the Linq.

We might have some drink in the room, but not cases and cases. If we want to drink in the room, we can do that at Motel 6 (LOL). We are in Vegas and like to go out an drink. With that said, between the store at the airport and Walgreens on every corner, you are covered.

I'm not sure you are going to find multi-packs of seltzer water other than at a supermarket like Vons or Albertsons. A Walgreens or CVS or ABC Store might have 2 liter bottles.

Thanks for the ideas. I ordered Von's for delivery of seltzer, snacks and a bottle of wine. I will stop at the liquor library for a split to drink in the limo.

Good thing I'm solo this time as I drive most people crazy with my over planning. But in my defense, I only make a few reservations for things I know I want to do. Once I arrive I go with the flow.

This is where we usually stop. You can be in and out in under 10 minutes. Small store with fairly priced booze, water, snacks, etc.

I bought some liquor at the Walgreens that's just past Casino Royale (I think that's the location), and it was marked up quite a bit
