We'll be heading down to AC in a little while, wondering if any VMB's might be around the next couple of days? Signed up for the Borgata Bingo from MyVegas for tomorrow, should be interesting!

Good luck, you will be blown away tonight, wind gusts of up to 30 mph with 4 foot seas. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the low 60's and less windy but with a land breeze.

Lol, my last two casino trips (AC and Mohegan Sun) set me back ~$1400 each so I'm going to be taking a break til Vegas in June. Roulette has been my enemy so I might retire the game in favor of slots and VP. Anyway, I'm writing this post to wish you better luck than I've been having.

Please post a trip report. I'll be returning to A C for the first time in 5 years! Couldn't find a room for a decent price in Philly for dem convention, so I'm taking Caesars up on a 4 nights comped. Don't know if I'll drive each day to Philly or take train! Looking forward to vp and craps at Caesars and Ballys !

The train schedule is available on njtransit.com, the frequency of service is not very good. This will take you to Lindenwold, NJ station then pick up the PATCO High Speed Line into Philly.

If you're flying into philly, I'd reco renting a car. Commutation is easier / more convenient. And, sure, it's like 30/day, but you can head to Tom's River to try the world's best donut shop (not far from AC) and down to Cape May (again not far from AC). That's my two cents :)

Thanks hammie. I was hoping that it was 1 train from A. C. to Philly. Damn

I'm actually driving from Buffalo to Philly/A.C (6/7 hours). Was debating driving from / to each day however the convention and after convention activities last pretty long (free banquets, buffets, meet and greets, parties..etc). Don think I'm gonna feel like driving back to A C afterwards. Looks like I'm either gonna have to figure that out or spend $250.00 a night at the Loews in Philly!

Yea, then just make your last night a trip to AC and get the travel reimbursement from your company.

You could stay on the train from AC to Philly's 30th street station, but then you would need to get to the Convention Center. From 30th st. Station, you could take the Market Frankford line or a subway surface trolley. Getting off in Lindenwold and hopping on the High Speed Line will put you closer to the CC. You could also consider the Greyhound bus from AC to Philly.

Lowes @$250 is a good deal based on rates I've seen for the Convention. I agree with spandpwr, spend the last night or two in AC.
