Yes, I'm biased because I'm a UW fan, but a damn good commencement speech.

I considered it an excellent speech also. I made a point of reading it, as Leah, referred to in his speech is the daughter of a friend of mine.

My daughter graduated last year & her b.f. this year. They took the time this year to grab the pics they missed after k's graduation last year at the Union, climbing up on Abe, by the lake, etc. It's amazing how fast this last year went (my dd is now in a 1 year accelerated 2nd degree nursing program at a private Madison college right now).

 

Way way too much about Russ in this speech. I would have expected much better!

 

Thanks for sharing this Joe! I hate the Seahawks (from the days when they were in the Raiders division), but from what I've seen, their QB is a fine man, role model and yes... even a great QB for that stupid team!
