Anyone played at Sams Town? I will be staying downtown next week and was thinking about heading out the to play in one of the low stakes tournaments they have, then take the shuttle to the strip. 1:00pm $30 buy in I believe, my question is, is it worth it to go out there? I'd like to see the casino, but I don't want to go if they are not going to have enough people to play.

I haven't played this tournament in a couple of years so my info might be dated. Last time I was there the tournament drew about 40 people. I think I was one of the only "outsiders" so I have a feeling it is a pretty stable crowd of people that show up quite often.

Also, I was just over 40 years old last time I played this one and I am pretty sure i was 20+ years younger than most.

Is Sams Town far from Downtown?

Free shuttle bus from either Cal or Fremont everyday. Otherwise, about ~7 miles
