First time staying at the Linq, going to try and update as much as possible.

Flew West Jet out of YYJ to YVR, then to Vegas went very smooth and arrived 25 mins early. Check-in went smooth and thanks to the info on VMB those extra bank of elevators are a life saver. More to come...

First thing we did after checking in was hit up Guy Fieri's, food was really good and hit the spot. Me and my wife split the Mac & Cheese Bacon Burger and Double Barrel BBQ Wings, both awesome.

After Fieri's we walked to Wynncore because my buddy has never been there, I cannot stress enough how convenient The Linq's location is. In either direction you are virtually near all the good hotels. Did a bit of gambling and headed back to the strip.

On the way back decided to go in to the Venetian/Palazzo because a friend of mine wanted cookies from the Honolulu Cookie Company.

We then hit up Double Helix Wine/Whisky Bar for some wine...and whisky!

Lost my friend after this somehow and decided to head back to the room for a beer and a second wind. Headed to TAG for some VP...

And then a walk along the Strip

Tired as shit on only 3 hours sleep, more to come!

Is that burger really as big as it looks? I will have 3+ days to myself while hubs is at a conference and had this on my short list of places to try, but I think it would be a waste because there's no way I could eat it all!

Good start! Go find those quads!

And totally agree about the Linq's location. It's awesome. But with TAG there, I don't wander to other casinos as much as I used to. ;)

Nice report so far. We stayed at the Linq last year and that location is AWESOME. We rarely had to use paid transportation because you can easily walk anywhere.

My brother in law works at a place in the Linq called "Off the Strip" but we haven't been able to get out there yet and visit. Do you guys have any plans to hit that place up? Sounds somewhat "upscale" according to him.

Well the glasses in the picture are from a flight of beer but yes, the portions in general are huge. There are fridges in every room so you could keep left overs.

We do not have plans so far, I keep seeing it though. Is it a steak house?

I wish Palazzo had fridges in the rooms! All they have are the stocked minibars!

Looking forward to more updates! Do they make it pretty clear at TAG which drinks are comped when playing? I'm thinking about hitting them up next trip to try some different beers but I hate the guessing game

I've had some pretty expensive beers at TAG, and they have all been comped playing 5 credits of single line quarter video poker. I love that place.

Unfortunately, no. But I usually haven't had a problem. Mainly because I don't pick a very pricey beer from the get-go and/or they remember me from the past. They have comped me some "bombers" because I was there for awhile. They aren't "supposed to" though.

Sculpin, as shown in OPs post, will definitely be comped. As with most 12 oz. beers that aren't more than $5 per bottle in a beer store.
