Got the email for this bonus yesterday. You do have to "activate" it via the email they sent out. Here is a link to the promo.

As to the order mentioned above, why is the order a factor?

RULES: CONGRATULATIONS! You are opted in to the Spring Tier Credit Bonus and one step closer to earning up to 25,000 extra Tier Credits. Simply earn at least 1,000 Tier Credits between April 1 and June 30, and your 50% BONUS will be posted to your account by July 15, 2016

You probably should explain how someone can earn 2,500 TCs in a day. It's not the easiest thing to do for a newbie.

IMHO, it really depends on how often you go to LV/CET casinos and what your gambling budget is. If you only go once a year or less, it probably isn't worth it. I go 10-12 times a year and the value of higher levels appeals to me and the amount needed to achieve them is within my E.I. (Expendable Income) budget.

If you're a slot player, depending on the denomination that you play ($1-$10 a pull), it should take between 2.5-6 hours to earn 2500TC.

TIMSPEED is a VP player, and can probably chime in as well.

The discipline required if to QUIT once you've hit your level for the day, unless you are prepared to go to the next level.

For a slot player, the cost estimate is $1/TC. That's what I use. If my losses to make a 2500TC day are <$2500 (they usually are), then i figure I'm ahead.

The $1 per TC is what I use too. I earned 7500 in my four day trip in January so this trip I'll only need to earn 5,000 to re-up my diamond for next year, which is the goal. Plan is to get 1,000 the first two days so I only need 1,000 total the last three days, though knowing myself I'll end up doing 1,000 the first four days and go far beyond what I need, but hey, maybe this will be a winning trip!!!

For VP this method would be $40,000 coin in over 3 days, vs $50,000 coin in over 2 days ($25k+25k) to get Diamond without the bonus. Sure, its a somewhat less coin in, and spread over more days, but it's not something earth shattering to make Diamond drastically easier to attain. Plus, you still need to be able to play $25k coin in for one of those 3 days. Note that your daily average will be brought down to $13k coin in with the 3 day method, which might affect your offers if you normally average higher than that. Nice info, but it is not a large shortcut to Diamond.

OK, my case is somewhat different from TIMSPEED, since I want to accumulate the maximum TC in Q2 to renew 7* early. and here's the way that I now look at it:

THEORETICALLY, a 2500TC day is worth WAY more than two 1000TC days.

    2500+5000=7500TC vs. 1000+1000+1000+1000= 4000 and it's "only" 500 more TC.

Unless I'm getting "killed", I focus on one 2500TC day vs. multiple 1000TC days.

Of course, your budget and bankroll have a lot to do with it.

Budget has everything to do with it. If I bring $3000-$4000 for a 4 day trip, I could lose that all in one day if I'm unlucky and not even hit the $2,500. I'd be awfully bored the last three days

I think what Tim was trying to convey is if you only have a "long weekend (ie arrive Friday, Leave Late Sunday/early monday)", you can achieve diamond during that time. I guess the 2500 tier point day should actually be the second day though.

    For instance:

Arrive friday afternoon - achieve 500 tier points + bonus
Saturday am to sunday am - achieve 2500 tier bonus + bonus
Sunday am -> departure time - achieve 1000 tier points + bonus

for a budget I would agree with the others that $1/tier point is probably where you will settle in. Remember though, that at times you may be well below that number due to randomness/fluctuations of the game. This happens if you start out on a losing streak for instance and then spend the rest of the trip trying to play catch up.

** IMPORTANT ** Most of the casino's in vegas, the "day" starts early in the morning, like 5:30 am. You can go to the TR desk and ask them, or, you will know when you insert your card if your points have reset.

-> For VP players, it is virtually impossible to achieve 2,500 tier points in one day playing single line VP at the quarter level or below (even if you play super fast). If you play at quarter level or below, you will need to play multi line, or something like Dreamcard/Ultimate X where you are playing 10 coins per hand.

All CET casinos in Vegas start gaming days at 6am.

Yeah, with single line you realistically have to play dollars minimum and even that would still be 5000 hands to earn 2500 TCs, so it would take upwards of 10 hours of not so slow play (500 hands/hr).

If you're not a gambler, then Founder's Card is probably the way to go, but then for AC you still have the issue of RCs to enter the Diamond Lounge.

    Note:
It is MUCH easier to "ramp up" play.. and it also looks MUCH better to the CET system.
Instead of having to play 2500TC in two days (or 5000TC in ONE day) you only need to play 500TC, then 1000TC, then the big 2500...so if it's going bad, you can decide for yourself if it's worth it or not.
And I dunno about you, but $10k coin is, is $10k coin LESS I'll have to play..
EDIT: Also, this is almost an advantage play now..
With a -$400 EV, and a $100 dining voucher, and all the perks associated with Diamond status..definitely good. (Hell, you could easily save $300 in resort fees!)

I disagree about it looking better. ADT is an "average", and 2500TC and a no play day still averages out to more than two 1000TC days.

Obviously, if you're not at ZERO points..adjust accordingly. (Remember, 2500TC in a day will get you 10k TC with the bonus included)

Yeah, without hitting the dollar royal, there's a good chance you'll be below the EV he's talking about (8/5 Dollar Bonus at Rio).

I understand where you're coming from in saying that doing it 500/1,000/2,500 TCs in that order is somehow better, but theoretically, it doesn't make any difference, and less so, the smaller the denom you are playing (given that the paytable is the same for denoms, which I know it isn't).

If you're properly bankrolled and playing the same denom every hand, and I'm really thinking of a $5 slot here, so 1 spin = 1 TC, then 2,500 spins should get you closer to the theo return than 500. So if you go into your first session aiming for 500, you might have a bad variance session and abandon your quest. Not saying that can't happen with a 2,500 spin session, but I guess my point is, if you have the firepower, it shouldn't make a difference whether you ramp up or down.

As for effect on comps, I don't think it makes a difference there either. I used to play about the same amount each day on my stays at Caesars, but the last few trips I heavily front-loaded my play into the first two or three days, and don't play at all for two or three. My typical 7 day stay is now is 2,500 /1,000 / 1,000 / 500 / 0 / 0 / 0 and I haven't seen any change in my offers or comp availability.

If there are two of you then both play on one card. Better for one to have Diamond than neither of you.
