I'm not one to play strictly for comps or to boost my tier level in a players club, but during last year's LV trip I happened to earn enough Mlife tier credits to achieve the Gold tier. Over the last few years, Mlife has been pretty generous to me in terms of offers even at Pearl tier, but I have seen an uptick in the quality of offers since I achieved Gold last year. I'm not sure if I'll earn enough tier credits this year to maintain my Gold status beyond October, but if I end up getting really close during my trip in July, I was just curious if anyone has any shortcuts or "hacks" to earning Mlife tier credits through hotel, restaurant, or retail purchases. Since 25 tier credits are earned for every dollar spent at Las Vegas Mlife properties, I'm wondering if anyone has purchased anything like restaurant gift cards (which could be used back home for chain restaurants), MGM Resorts gift cards (which could be used on future trips), or anything else to help boost tier credit earnings. I'm thinking more along the lines of practical purchases that I could use back home or that could be applied to my current trip or a future trip, as opposed to splurging on an extremely expensive meal or ordering a bottle or two of Grey Goose for room service :)

By time you order those overpriced Grey Goose you might as well just pay for the rooms

    Repeat after me:

Offers are based on play. Not on tier, or tier credits.

AFAIK, you don't earn TC on purchase of mLife gift cards, only when you redeem them. I don't know about the restaurant gift cards. You need to check with mLife to get the details.

    This.
Maintaining a Gold tier is useless.

Well, I wouldn't say it's useless, the priority check-in line alone makes it worth something. But if the OP is trying to maintain it only for the offers sake, then it doesn't really make difference which level they are.

    Erm...the very first post says:

EDIT: Now that I think of it. There's two ways of understanding "Gold tier doesn't pay for parking". Haha.

Sorry, I thought about the meaning of my statement not being clear.

It should be "Parking fees are waived for Gold Tier and above".
