Anyone want to share any Vegas secrets for a newbie? First time visiting Vegas and staying at the Delano in May. Good places to Chilax in the day, great people watching places? Where not to go/avoid? Just looking to maximize my time, on business and away from wife.

How many days? The pool at Mandalay might be good people watching! But really good people watching is Fremont street downtown Vegas. Have fun!

3 days / 3 nights, looking forward to a getaway, mostly just to relax. Thanks for the advice.

You'll be surprised how many women approach you
when you sit at a casino bar, in the evening.
    It's your personality......it shows !
    Have fun.

Since you say you are going on business are your days booked up? I think one problem Vegas Virgins have is trying to cram in too much. 3 days will fly by. Hang out by the pool if you can during the day, MBay pool is very nice. Spend some time downtown just to experience the freaks. Food options are all over the place. If the company is picking up your tab you can spend a ton on good food.

I love to watch people while drinking cocktails at Petrossian Lounge in Bellagio. It's the lounge where the lobby meets the casino.

I'll be at Delano in May also on a guys trip, I would recommend Moorea beach club also visit sky fall lounge at the top of Delano at night, one of the best views in Vegas. In addition Mandalay has a live band every night in the casino near restaurant row and the people watching is fantastic.

If you're into people watching, go have a drink at the fireside lounge at the Peppermill. Always someone interesting there.

I wouldn't know, I'm what they call on this board a degenerate gambler. I don't leave the property once I check in and focus my energy on cards and dice. I hit the pools and lounges to stop the bleeding or celebrate the wins. Others on this bored have mentioned carnival court in the center strip area but I have never been there too far away.
