So I've heard rumours that the Cosmo is opening a poker room can anyone confirm this? We love the Cosmo and a poker room would just complete it!
Cheers in advance for any responses.

I would love this. I just came back from there, and I was devastated that there was no poker. I had to go to Planet Hollywood to play

Haven't heard that rumor. Where did you hear it? Where would they put it?

I thought poker rooms were kind of dying out. Not sure why they would want one.

Poker rooms aren't really a cash cow for casinos these days. They don't make enough on the rake to justify the square footage and poker players are generally fairly frugal so drawing in a bunch of tight wads isn't helpful to the bottom line :peace:

Rumor sounds untrue. Where did you hear this? People have been saying this for a while but it's mainly locals who wish it were true.

I heard this rumor over a year ago before there new sports book was built out, but this seems super unlikely as ukfanatic pointed out there isn't real estate available.

Just for fun, I tried to imagine where they could put a poker room. I think they would have to eliminate one of their bar areas. Bond bar area would seem to make the most sense to me. But I doubt that will ever happen

I think they'd rather put in a CVS or Walgreens over putting in a poker room there. :)

I'm devastated that you wouldn't just simply go to Aria, where the best poker room in the city is located right next door. o_O
