I am confused by all the web sites where tickets are available for shows at the new T Mobile Arena. Specifically we want tickets to the Dixie Chicks on July 17th. We usually see shows in a hotel showroom where tickets are bought at the box office and its all cut and dried. All I can find is sites that are resale. (scalpers) Anyone sharing good advice on "honest" ticket sales would be appreciated.

Hey paper, do you know anything about how Cosmo's free ticket offers work? I get emails from them all the time offering a couple of free tickets to a lot of shows there, at all the different venues, usually all the shows except the really top-tier acts. The number you're supposed to call to reserve tickets doesn't appear to be linked directly to Cosmo.

Are they just papering the house, or should I expect if I reserve tickets it'll count against my comp balance?

most shows are ga , im notsure why you say all differnt venues in the winter theres only one the chelsea in the summer theres 2 the chelsea and blvd pool. im not counting marquee nite club

at the blvd pool except if your a High Roller u can go upstaris or take a cabbana no need for either its all ga and very big.so dont worry about the tickets .if it rains i assume they will move it into the chealsea.

the chealsea just look to see if its ga wich 99 percent of the shows are or its all resrved wich only like comedey or willie nelson are. otherwise dont sweat it , they seats the offer high rollers are in the back behind the ga, and yes there just papering the house.
the chealse is one of my favorite venues in vegas saw niel young there , they gave locals free tickets and it wasnt from the cosmo it was from from the free locals site.

it used to be just for alteranative acts lke lorde and others but therers so much competition there booking anything and everything now..

the number u call should vip casino services and you give them ur players card number and they can see what u have atleast thats how it worked before they sold the place but i havent got an offer since they sold the place so thing could have changed.

my stuff comes as a local as 99 percent of every show in vegas is offerd to us for free nothing to do with the casino or hotel at all they just want people in there.

they offerd us the band perry last nite if we wanted them and a half a dozen other band else were

    hope that helps

weather they hit your comp balance i dont know it didnt before the new people took over.

my guess its stuff to get u in , it might be against your primary comps or desrcitionary notsure how cosmo is set up. also they way they treat table players is differnt now rember.

thats the best i can answer. u can ask u might get 5 differnt answers

on a side note very few things sell there

Thanks. I was finally able to pin the phone # to Cosmo, so I'm figuring they probably do ding comps for them.

This is what the emails look like, I'm sure a lot of people get them:

thats what i used to get , but it came every couple months, i had no comp dollars so it was free to get me in the door, but as a local they just hope i would gamble or buy a drink.

ur calling vip services they need ur players card number and they will tell u what u can get. ps, look to see if it a ga show so then it wont matter about seats.there just tryimg to get people in there , but as i said i dont know how the new owners will treat u if u no play.

all blvd pool shows are ga so dont sweat it. ps get in right at show time not the time printed on the ticket as thats doors oppening time u wind up waiting 2 hours

u might want check if bryan adams is ga , my gut says its all reserved but i didnt look

Yeah, I'm going to be playing/staying the weekend Bryan Adams is there. I checked out the seating chart on Ticketmaster or whoever and it's not GA, the top tix are $150+ or something, GA in the back is around $60. That "Gallery" section up top in the back, I couldn't really see it well in any of the pics I looked up - is that all standing room or do they have seats there? I think it would be cool to just be able to hang out up there and not have to be in a seat.

the 2 row behind the mix board on the second level are casino holds for high rollers, when its a ga show
section 101 102 103 after the walk are sold to the public and aslso ada seats, since this is a fully seated the high rollers will be on the front floor

the gallery on the roof is the ga section never been up there , dont think u will get those, u will probaly some were on the floor , ps the shows not selling and he just played here .

i perfer section 102 so i can sit down esecial when its a ga show.

its very easy to go any were but the floor in there .
