Full disclosure. I'm a lightweight when it comes to drinking. I don't drink much at all. BUT, I do drink when in Vegas. I probably drink more in my annual one week trip than I do the rest of the year.

Alcoholic milk shakes seems to be right up my alley. So who has the best ones? Strongest, best tasting, etc. Are they like the frozen 'drinks' they sell in the big cups where you might maybe kinda taste a little alcohol? Thanks!

I don't like them, but my friends have raved in the past about the options at Holsteins and Burger Bar

My wife loves them at Burger Bar. They are just like specialty milkshakes with some booze mixed in. They are crafted so they aren't overly strong, but wouldn't call them weak. They are expensive, but they are balanced and taste great.

Try a mudslide from one of those frozen cocktail machines. My favorite is downtown at Mermaids.

Bobby's Burger Palace has some good ones, about $9 each and a new place outside MC called BLVD Creamery has some awesome ones, I had an apple pie shake with apple vodka and fireball with vanilla ice cream. A little spendy at $15, but if you play myVegas they have a 2 for 1 deal.

I've had several different ones @ Holstein's. One concern is that they're often a little too sweet.

But with all of the ones I've had, and all of the frozen drinks I've had @ Fat Tuesday's, you can definitely taste the alcohol.

Thanks for all the tips! Looks like I'll be busy! I'm going in late June so I'm sure I'll have plenty of chances to cool down with a milk shake.

Holsteins was on my list to try, so that looks like a definite.

ncoday... already have the 2 for 1 reward locked up! I'll just have to suffer while slamming down two milk shakes. Or maybe I'll split my coup with an attractive female standing nearby who will wonder why the old guy is offering to buy her a milk shake. Oh. I'm going alone. Shoot. I should have said that first. I messed up the joke!

Peachiekeehn...thanks for the tip on the frozen drinks. I bring my own bottle of rum and usually take the drink back to my room and add rum when necessary. Usually I get one after walking around all day and am headed back to my room for a refresh / reboot. Once I added too much and kinda passed out in my room. Ah, Vegas.

BreakEven...unfortunately, I have a HUGH sweet tooth. The only thing I ever thought was too sweet was Pop Tart cereal years ago. Bring it on!

Less than 60 days away. Time goes so slow when you have a Las Vegas vacation planned.

The thought of a milkshake with alcohol brings back a memory of a bad night when I was 17. It started with beer, Boones Farm Berry wine, and ended with a McD's Vanilla Shake with rum. :drunk:
