    Hi All

We are visiting Vegas for 5 nights in Aug as part of a road trip. Currently have 1.1m Loyalty points and as a non frequent visitor want to use up the most possible in a sensible way while I am there.

We both love food experiences so was thinking the 500k Wolfgang Puck 2 for 1 Tasting Menu as one. My question is - what else is worth spending a good amount of points on?

Our room is already sorted so not really looking for a room reward!

Clearly assuming they are still available at the 3 month point before we go!

    Thanks all :)

    Question

So, I'm just curious. I have a trip to Vegas planned in July and just recently learned about the MyVegas app last week. Not sure how long you played to get that many LP's but how in the world do you have 1.1m loyalty points? I just don't see how that is possible haha...

I have over 2.5 million loyalty points and over 18 billion coins and another 2500 bonus points on Konami slots. I won a huge jackpot and it has snowballed from there.

I honestly have no idea what I am going to do with them all. LOL

    VegasHike,
My favorite rewards are Beatle's Love tickets, a room at Mirage, and free buffet at Mirage. My wife plays too, so we try to group things together. The rewards are getting very hard to come by lately though.

We've also done very well with Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY. Our experience has been that a free entrée equates to a food credit, we were not held to the particular item, plus we have added on the $25 credit too. Last time we had a reward for a free XYZ entrée and the $25 credit each. This added up to roughly $65 of buying power. We each had a cocktail, an entrée, and we split a desert. All we had to cover was the tip.

I'll even settle for Excalibur buffets but you have to watch those, they don't always have the little key icon to indicate a room stay is required. You have to click and read the details. Excalibur was our first Vegas stay so we are found of the place. When the parking fee takes effect we probably won't go there much.

Some of this may have changed and as I mentioned earlier the rewards are getting hard to get.

edit, just read this on Tahoejoe2's TR. "Nine Fine Irishman, NYNY: Great food and service. Shepherd pie was great. Wife had blacken Mahi Mahi. Tip#7: MyVegas coupon for 2 for 1 (17000 pts.) will actually get you a $35 food voucher. Guinness was smooth." See, the 2 for 1 coupon turned in to a food credit.

    Using my points

I am not a frequent player but do use all my chips. I would say my loyalty points have racked up slowly over 2 years since my last visit.

Thanks for the tips/review on Nine Fine Irishmen - will check that out! :)

If you like whiskey do the whiskey tasting at Monte Carlo. It's cheap as hell and probably one of the best values.
