Bad losing streaks you have had at your local Casinos?

I had three consecutive losing streaks at my local Casinos. Losing trips are the pits, especially back to back to back. There is nothing fun about losing so consecutively, but luckily I wasn't losing money I needed, (didn't lose my rent, phone, food, or utilities money) so I have that to be grateful for. I am going to go to my local on Monday for their free play day(only have to spend $5 to activate) , and then just might wait until free play Thursday to come back(again, only $5 to activate).

I was losing on slot machines. I don't blame you for wising up and proverbially stop petting the dog that keeps biting you. It's what I am considering doing to. Only going on days where there is free play being given.

Well, what you're suggesting is illegal in Nevada and most of the country. The machines have to be random decks with equal probabilities for each card to appear. A casino can't arbitrarily say, "Well, we aren't winning enough. Let's lower the Royal Flush chances from 1 in 40,000 to 1 in 100,000." Unless they feel like breaking the law of course. But they definitely can say, "Well, we aren't winning enough. Let's lower the flush payout from 30 credits to 25 credits."

As far as the original question though. A particular streak doesn't stick out to me. I think I had a bit of a bad go at one of the locals in early 2014, but I don't recall the number of outings that losing streak was. I definitely don't recall something like 5 sizable losses in a row. But I wouldn't be shocked if I blocked that out of my mind! :evillaugh

I wish I kept accurate logs last year of my wins/losses. I believe going to my local in Cincinnati, I lost generally 85% of those trips. There were only a few times last year where I walked out break even or up slightly. My general game or choice is blackjack and craps when I only have about two hours to kill. Last year was horrendous and barely made diamond, only 5 to above the minimum and was made on New Years. The blackjack conditions at my local are not worth playing. I started making the drive a little further to Belterra for better by rules and lower limits and have built a solid roll back up, and hit a hand pay in the process. Here's looking to a better 2016.

I had a 3 month losing streak at my local, playing UTH...playing 2 to 3 days a week. Eventually, I wised up enough to finally take a break from that game at that local. I switched over to VP and caught fire! I found a group of 4 bartops that offered $10 denom, so I made $10 DDB my game of choice for this local. I absolutely raped those machines through the rest of the year. Sadly, those bartops are all gone and there is only one single $10 slant top left. I am now lost when I go to this local. I have not discovered my new groove yet and find myself chasing now, at this casino, trying to make something my new bitch...guess I'm their bitch for now...lol

So question is what you getting when you throwing 5 in? I mean what they giving you for free play?

I had a rough one tonight.

I don't have a car, so I biked over to the bus stop for the casino shuttle. I missed the free shuttle, but I'm a degenerate and wanted to gamble, so I found a bus where you pay $25 and can then earn the money back through playing in the casino.

I blew through $50 in craps, and ended up getting $15 back. I naturally played that in a different game before losing it all. I come back on the bus only to find that someone had stolen my seat post, seat, and lights off my bike :(

It's a nice bike, so it'll be at least $100 to replace everything. How's that for a $200+ trip to the casino, especially when I only "gambled" 50?

They give you from $5 to $1000 on Free Play Monday and $5 on Free Play Thursday. I almost got $1000 in free play last Monday. I was literally so damn close(one spot would have given me $1000 in free play. It hurts so damn bad. I got $10. Ouch. :(

Those promo wheels aren't equally weighted, btw. They'll spin you near the $1000 spot many, many, many more times than actually hitting it. I would guess the average freeplay amount is $10 for that wheel spin, give or take.

    And damn, sergi0wned, sorry. :(

Mrs ended hers yesterday at Caesars AC when she hit 4 aces on a bartop at Toga Bar. Mine continued on as usual,a month or maybe two.

Long enough we have quit going, we tried going after our December trip a few times and it took three months just to get a $200 dollar pay on a slot, where as every trip to Vegas on the same machines we get multiple wins of that size and better in a few days. We took the win from this past weeks Vegas trip BR on Sunday and lost it back, luckly only 300, I don't play BJ there as we have to pay a .50 ante/hand nor craps as they play with a big "fuzzy" dice and cards and the VP tables are mostly 7 or even 6/5 so I avoid them like the plague. All in all we have told the tribes to pound sand and look elsewhere to get their money cause it's not coming from us anymore.

jerseyguy 6/5 VP at the Toga bar, but its still one of my favorites. I gotta ask, what do you think of the bartenders at the Toga Bar? Many of these guys have a permanent scowl and look constipated. Unless its completely dead, I find the service hit or miss. Congrats to Mrs on the 4 aces!

Went to local Casino for free play Monday with $4 and hoped I could turn that into $5 in coin to activate free play. Turns out on free play Monday, you only need $1 to activate free play. :) Free Play Thursday is the one that you need to play $5 to activate free play. I played my $1 and played $1.50 in 3 (50 cent ) Play 4 and Cash 3 Lottery. I got $10 for free play(the blasted wheel hovered dangerously close to $1000 in free play and once again went to $10. Drats!) That blasted free play wheel! I turned my $10 in free play into almost $6 in cash and ran for the hills. Between playing to activate the free play and playing Lottery tickets, I am still a good $7 ahead!:D

Last three visits to Winstar I didn't win anything. Nothing, zilch, nada. Good thing was, my husband was winning so each time we left when he had won enough to make back what I lost and we ended up even.

Sooo, just like WOF it's not a coincidence that the 1,000 is in the middle of the 30 and 45 credits on the wheel. If you truly feel like you ALMOST had it, you are going to lose a lot of money until you figure out how this all works.
