Is my Southwest flight sold out?

My Southwest flight shows "sold out" for wanna get away fares, but you can still purchase Anytime and Business Select .... wow, very high fares.

Just wondering how full this flight will be.

 

In my experience with SouthWest, if you try to book a flight less than 2 - 3 weeks out, it shows just as you have stated.

Southwest oversells their flights as often as possible. But your flight may still not be completely full. Depends on how busy the hub is you are flying out of, and how many pax remain on the plane from the previous stop of that leg.
Who knows, you may even get your own row all to yourself!!!

 

They keep a few seats open for last minute business travelers and thus the higher prices.

 

Wanna Get Away fares become unavailable 2 weeks before departure or when they've sold the allotment for that fare.

Not always 2 weeks... They were available 5 days b4 a recent flight

 

Yep. I haven't figured out exactly when the Wanna Get Away fares go away but its usually between 5-14 days before the flight.

 

My flight leaves in less than 3 days and the wanna get away is still available

 

The 'Wanna get Away' fares appear, disappear & re-appear...sometimes even on the same day!
It's always best to check back periodically.

 

The different fare buckets will go up and down based on what they think they can sell. They prefer to sell the more expensive fares of course, but supply and demand forces them to offer the lower ones.

As to full - pretty much all SW flights I take are easily at 90% of more full.
