When you purchase the reward, it will send you a link to log in to MLife and show you a calendar with available dates. If you don't like any of them, you can cancel the reward (up to a certain number of cancellations per month, I think it's 5) and get your points back.

The hotel rewards don't count toward the 5 cancellations

You won't know what dates are available until you purchase the reward and like fugsworth says, you will get an email to log onto mlife and view the calendar.

It's a crap way to do it as it was so much easer before but you might be lucky and someone who has purchased for mgm might post up the available dates, it would be better if you give full details of when you are thinking of going, the less details you give the less replies you will get.

Easier now. Maybe you forgot about trying to call in. Busy. On hold forever. And still no guarantee room was available. Now all you have to do is buy, click in email, purchase or return. Join a myvegas facebook group. they all have dates posted, but no guarantee still available

Think I must have been lucky when phoning up John as never had the busy signal, the only problem I had was the person on the phone understanding my accent(I'm Scottish).

I suppose as long as you check beforehand on the facebook group then it's easy to book a room, I've got my last day in Vegas on 22nd June at MGM booked this way so hopefully no problems when I move from Harrah's.
