I got paid today, took out $300. Have a $200 loan to pay off, and had $100 to do what I needed and wanted to do with it. I had a strict budget of $20 for morning Lottery, ended up playing $14, had breakfast and lunch for about $13 altogether, gave $2 to a woman in need, went to Casino after work and had another strict $20 for Night Lottery and $20 for Casino gambling. My entire gambling budget was $60 for the whole day.

I went to Lotus Flower and put a $20 in the 5 cent machine and up and down, I ended up with only about $4 from the $20. Boo. I put $1 in White Orchid on a 5 and got 4 Ladies in a row. I was happy that 4 Ladies on White Orchid on a 5 cent machine is worth $20. I got 3 Men twice for $1, or $5.

I "Parked" some money(Cashed it in and put it in my wallet). I used some extra dollars that I won to play another $14 in Night Lottery. So far, I am $12 ahead of my Lottery budget. I find that Cats is now open and I have $8 from White Orchid. I go to the 5 cent machine of Cats, and do three lines times 3 or .45 a spin. I get full lines of the J which is $5 or $15 in and out of itself, plus double lines of the Tigers including Cats symbol worth $10. I think a $10 dollar win is decent, but not extraordinary. I then realize I forgot about the real monetary value of a 5 cent machine. I turned the machine into a 1 cent machine and was happily delighted to see that my $8 now netted me $71 in profit! I now had $79! I cashed out happily, played $10 back, lost it and am delighted to say after playing both Morning and night Lottery, Casino, and eating for the day, I have my entire $100 back, plus still have the $200 loan money! :D

So, how was Gambling today for you? :D

That's how a smart, consistent gambler works.
Don't play until you hit the home run. Have a number and work with it.
If someone told you that you could put $1,000 into the stock market in the morning and wind up with $1,100 by the evening, you'd be pretty excited about the 10% return.
Yet when we gamble, we're not happy unless we turn $100 into $10,000 in 24 hours.

Thank you for your response. :) I knew that I could not afford to not pay my loan off, and knew I had to stick to a strict gambling budget, and not only did I stick to it, I got my entire bankroll back after playing Lottery twice and slots! I have to be responsible considering the fact that I had a $200 loan to pay off. Also, I agree with you with people being happy with a 10 percent profit in stock, and getting mad with a 10 percent profit in a Casino. Go figure.

Went to the local casino to play craps with $200 BR. Tables were closed. Played DDB Poker, $10 profit. On the way out played $1 slot, $15 profit. Up $25 went home still pissed about the closed table @ 0900 hours. WTF! :grrr::soapbox::bang:

Gambling makes us irrational. Maybe it's because we all remember the time we put in a 20 and got back a 1000.

And our irrational minds think that we can do it all the time.....
