I am attaching my MLife tax info from 2015. I took 2 trips to Vegas during that time and below is my MLife tax information statement. Based on what you see what kind of comps if any would you think I should be getting?

I always use my players card wherever I play but it seems there is a sort of 'art' to how to gamble to maximize your comps etc. Sometimes I'll play $20 or $50 through a machine in one MLife place and continue on to the next property...would this negatively effect any possible offers? I used to be a marathon blackjack player but have played more slots over the past few years.

What are your strategies to maximize your comps?

I'm heading to Vegas in about a month and would like to try to play (within my budget) in a way that might increase my comps or at least get me what I should be getting based on my play.

    I appreciate your comments!

You're doing about 10k in coin in the slots per trip. If we figure about a 8% HA, you're generating about 800 bucks in theo, which you can expect about 30% back in comps which is $240 or so. With that play, you're probably looking at maybe 2-3 nights free (Sun-Thurs) and possibly some small FP and F&B (like $50-100 worth).

As for the rest of your question, the casino hopping and dropping a little money in the slots in each casino before moving on will both hurt and help your play. MLife has two types of offers, corporate offers, and individual casino offers. For the corporate offers, they consider all of your play across any of their casinos, and the offers are also good across the board but will vary based on the "level" of the property. For those any play you give at any casino will help boost those. In addition to the corporate offer, the individual casinos also send out offers that are based solely on the play you give to that specific casino. If you focus your play at one property vs. spreading it out, you will typically find that the offers from individual casinos will be better than your corporate offer. Honestly though, if you enjoy casino hopping, I wouldn't forgo that to simply boost your individual offers. They can be a bit spottier, and quite frankly the small amount you're talking about isn't going to make a HUGE difference anyways.

Also the most important thing is you were a winner last year!

    ^^ that.
I spread my play out too but get way better offers from the mirage which is the casino I normally stay/play at.

Your statement looks a lot like mine. The reply above is spot on. We get 2-4 nights comp...$50-$100 freeplay and/or resort credit on average. We've recently started a love affair with the Palazzo so I see them getting the majority of our play this summer.

Thanks for the information and explanation. That is usually what I've been getting in regards to comps...I guess what I am doing now is not hurting me much in this regard so I'll keep on doing what I've been doing. Yup, I was a winner last year... it's rare but I guess people win sometimes haha!

I used to get decent offers at Venetian/Palazzo but they dried up a few years back. What kind of offers do you get from them and what kind of play do you give them if you don't mind me asking? Maybe I'll spend some time there next month if they aren't too tight with the offers :)

 .... things are definitely getting tighter

I had a great offer of Suite for 3 nights, $600 Freeplay, $400 f&b in any MLife hotel including Aria & Bellagio which expired in March

Nothing in my account at the moment but on ringing my "host" (who will not be my host for much longer as I've blown him out due to his attitude) was offered 3 nights in a Bellagio deluxe with no freeplay or f&b

We've only started staying /playing here within the last year. On a quick trip with my mom last oct, I think my coin in was only around $3k and they started sending me casino rates and minimal freeplay. I use IHG points to stay for free, have 4 nights coming up in June but got a 2nd room for my parents at a casino rate of $159 per night. Nothing great but better than the normal $239+ per night they usually charge.
