Table Games Noob question. European roulette minimum bets.

I wanted to play european roulette in vegas tonight but I noticed some sites were saying minimum bets were $25 and up. Do they mean individual chip bets have to be at least $25 worth? I wanted to use $400 and bet $10 chips can I do that? Or does it have to be American roulette?

 

They don't have $10 chips.

 

If the minimum bet is $25 the total amount of your inside bets needs to be $25 or greater. Each individual outside bet has to $25. They will give you chips in $5, $25, $100 Good luck!

 

Interesting, in most Europe casinos, the most common chips are 10s and 20s, next comes 50s. All don't exist in US.

 

Not entirely, although they are rare. The bac tables at the CP high limit uses $20 chips

Bellagio has a European wheel at $50 min most times. It's usually on the corner of the roulette pit closer to the front lobby. I think I've seen it at Aria too in the HL room, but at $100 min. Who would have it at $25 mins? I'd be more inclined to play on a single zero wheel at that level.

 

Mirage has had $25 single 0 in the past.
