Great room! I am not a fan of those marble tile floors as I always seem to try to break my neck in them. But they sure are gorgeous!

    Win big!

For Video poker, they have 13 bar tops at Lulu's lounge and another stand up bank of 10 on the floor. Not sure which games you were looking for in the way of payables but here are a couple pics- let me know if you want a specific one-

Wow. In a total food coma.

I think I'm becoming a buffet girl! A couple weeks ago we were at Disney World and my fave meal of the trip was the buffet at the Grand Floridian. I've eaten at Tramonto here many times, but never the buffet. We got to the buffet right at opening, first in line, and thankful we did that.....by the time we left there were masses of people showing up. The seafood there was insane- people had their plates heaping with the crab legs and the staff was pretty much stationed there constantly refilling. At no point did I see any of the offerings run out- they just had a constant stream, especially of the crab, refilling! I've never seen anything like it! Had a great seat by the windows looking out onto the marina.

Wow...9/6 DDB (98.98%) for dollars; I'm surprised by that one. 8/6 Boner (98.49%) isn't bad there either. And it's "Vegas Style", not that bullshit in Washington state! You might need to get up there Sonya!

Great stuff VC! Win big tonight!

Oh that buffet looks wonderful. And that's from a person who tends not to choose the buffet. ;) They had me at Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding. :licklips:

How's the gaming going for you? Couple nice wins, but overall how is it comparing to Vegas?

I know. I almost pulled out the suitcase this morning. I've been showing all the pictures to Dan and he keeps thinking it's Red Rock in Vegas. I keep saying, "No RIVER Rock.. in BC." He may need more coffee. :haha:

Last night we stayed up until almost 3 am and by far did the longest stint we've ever done in the High Limit slots. When the dollar dropped last year I got into a convo on another board about the Canada VS Vegas payouts. Digging around on their website, I found they had the slot holds published in their financials and was surprised to see its more favourable than the Vegas strip but slightly less than Freemont (which I never play). We did a huge volume in the HL room and came out even for the night. River Rock has a LOT of large international players coming in and appears they set gaming conditions comparable to what those players would expect elsewhere. I noticed even the low limit BJ tables are all 3:2. I will get specifics and post later today. My mom and her friend are low playing between 50 cents and $1 bets and ended up a few hundred!

    A re-cap from yesterday-

First I have to start with a real highlight from this trip so far! Whenever we've come here to book suites, I've always booked through a friend who was a manager on the hotel side in conference planning and catering for the resort. She knew this was our annual trip with our moms this time and we were trying to make it special for them. When I went to our suite last night, THIS is what I found! Absolutely freaking amazing!!! It's chocolate! Suffice it to say, moms were blown away- as were we!!! I have never seen anything like it!!! Moms are saying it's so far been the best annual trip yet- and they are happy to be up a few hundred dollars at this point too!

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

We went to check out the McArthurGlen outlets- it's the first one in North America from the European brand. It's literally a 5 minute drive. The aesthetics are amazing compared to the other outlets. What was hilarious was that I was really impressed with how nice the stores were etc and I was taking pics inside of Coach and security came up and told me I couldn't take any pics. I've been taking pics all throughout the casino this trip and haven't been stopped (although discreetly I admit) yet I get stopped at the outlet- ha! This outlet even has a covered play area for the kids so parents can trade off to do shopping time......very smart! Didn't buy too much but lots of people were leaving with bags in hand!

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

As mentioned, we were up really late gambling last night and had our longest run in a HL room to date. We ended up even for the night which for us is a win! They have an awesome Buffalo game that I don't think I've seen in Vegas called Mystery Jackpot where at any bet size it just randomly drops Jackpots. I didn't see any while we were playing but they were a lot of fun. They were super busy and could only get on them later in the night.

It was a fun day yesterday. Today we are heading into Steveston Village, doing Tramonto for dinner, then taking the moms to the Nylons show in the evening.

Ooh...a "must hit by" Buffalo game??? I dunno why I'm excited over that though. I have never hit any progressive jackpot in my life. [emoji35] (I don't play them very often)

And that edible roulette table is awesome!!!!

Haha, you know me well DF! This is the first phase of their opening and doesn't have as much selection of stores I'm used to yet!

Yep- any bet size can get it - just a random payout at any time. They were full for hours!

Absolutely loving this report and the amazing pictures. Looks like River Rock (unlike most other gaming companies) has actually figured out how to create customers for life, simply provide good gaming, lodging & eating conditions and provide some nice "extra touches" that exceed expectations. Things that will pay off for the long term.

This casino should hire you as their marketing director!

Have a great trip with your family and hope the gambling gods treat you well.
