Hey guys. Was wondering how you guys find the slot machines you play. Do you have favorites you always play? Do you just walk around and play random machines or do you research before your trips to know the slot machine you want is there? Any good sites or apps you use when choosing a slot machine?

well it's a mix of all. going to Vegas for over 20 times I definitely have favorites. I also watch a lot of YouTube video's for research. but then if I see a slot I don't know and it looks interesting I give it a try as well.

Blazin' Bucks & Moon Struck come to mind. Not so much for payout, as much as the 'side action' bet.
With Blazin' it's dice and Moon is a poker hand. I just find these to be more entertaining than the standard slots.
The Mrs. and I played one out in Vegas...it's like a fishing tournament multi-player thing and it has a
vibrating reel (to emulate the feel of a fish on the line). I don't think we won anything on that but it was
    entertaining for a while.

It's rare that I opt to play slots. That's more what the Mrs. leans towards, however.

I agree with Betman - it's a mix of old favorites, or visually interesting, etc. I'm partial to dollar/five dollar - three reel slots, husband is hung up on penny Buffalo and five dollar 'Top Dollar'. We both like to try newer slots as well.

Some places you might give a look at:
    1. Review Trip Reports here on VMB - lots of slot pics with locations and denominations and comments.
    2. Search on VMB for posts by Evoni - good stuff - she also posts slot videos on utube and another website: www.lasvegasdaze.com
    3). Utube videos

Casino slot search and manufacturer as well:

Boyd Casino's slot search (updated fairly often and quite accurate):
    https://www.bconnectedonline.com/slot-search

Caesar's Entertainment slot search (not sure how accurate or last time it was updated):
    http://www.totalrewards.com/casino-gambling/slots-finder/slot-finder-home.shtml

Aristocrat slots (very accurate, mostly newer games) they also have an app for Apple:
    http://www.aristocrat-us.com/#!where-to-play/c21am

    WMS slots:
    http://www.wms.com/ForPlayers/Pages/SlotLocator.aspx

Bellagio used to have a good slot locater. But with the revamp of their site, I can no longer find it.

I think it got toasted with the revamp, unfortunately.

Do you think a good slot machine finder is needed? Curious why they would get rid of that?
