Slots n Roses trip April 7-10

So I'm sitting at work mentally prepping for my Vegas trip tomorrow. My last trip was in December and went ok. Not too many big hits but whatever, I tried. So I'm heading out tomorrow afternoon from Milwaukee solo and getting in around 5. My slot machine tag team partner will be coming from Peoria but not til about 10. This will be my first time staying at Cosmo thanks to Kevin putting me on to one of his hosts. So the itinerary is to meet my friend downtown at Fremont (his idea) and play some hopefully loose slots. Friday we have dinner planed at Portofino on the MyVegas 2 for 1 deal. Took advantage of it last September and thought it was a fine deal for good quality food. Then afterwards we afterwards catching Tosh. Saturday has no official dinner plans, but we have some decent seats to Guns n Roses at the new T Mobile arena. I have seen Axl and the new version of GnR 3 times over last couple of years. As I'm 36 years old I wasn't able to see them during the Illusion tours in the early 90s. But I'm making up for it this year by seeing them in Vegas this weekend, then Chicago and Nashville in July. Then back to reality Sunday night. So that's the plan. My buddy and I basically put our cash together and play a single machine or play next to each other and split the winnings. It's worked well for us through the years as we both play on my card at MGM and CET properties and we play on his card at Hard Rock and Boyd properties. Probably sprinkle some BJ, roulette, and sports betting too. And drink. A lot. So wish me luck and I'll try and post some updates along the way. I'll leave with the only 2 decent hits on my last trip in December, both at Mandalay.

Yes. I didn't want to do the frontier 8 pm flight. Took it in Dec, felt like I wasted a day.

Yep. Have to book so darn far in advance to get a reasonable fare. I was lucky a friend had some vouchers he wasn't using.

So a pretty darn good day at Cosmo this afternoon. My buddy and I each up a few hundy. Took the sting out of yesterday's debacle. Getting ready for dinner at Portofino then Tosh. Hoping Axl is recovered enough to preform tomorrow.
