I have just done a slightly more thorough look at what The D's suite is like... and while I'm not especially inclined to go to any extra effort or expense to stay in one as a solo traveler, I may have company on my next trip down - and this is someone who I think would appreciate having a suite. Having said that - like most of us, "rack rate" is something I avoid like the plague. While I don't expect earning a fully comped suite to be an especially easy feat at my play level (high red, low green on blackjack and roulette), does anyone know if this would qualify me for casino rate - and if so, approximately what casino rate would be for the suite specifically, probably during a weekday?

I would think they'd give you a discount, especially if it's on a weekday. I'd just call them up, and ask. They're usually pretty good about giving out comps.

What kind of video poker action moves the needle there? $5k, $10k? More?
