    Hi joined the forum a few weeks ago and really wish I had found it before I went Vegas a few weeks ago. Third time there and loved it as much as the first time. Even got married there last May which was a great experience and wasn't 'tacky' at all.

    Trying to convince the wife for a trip in the Autumn but she loves a cruise once a year :thumbsdown:

    Great forum by the way and some great insights/tips I wish I had known the last time we went.

    Hopefully will be active on here and maybe help the first timers a little

    Thanks for all the welcome guys. A few things we did in Vegas on the last trip apart from drinking copious amounts of alcohol ;

    Went for a meal at The Top of the World at The Stratosphere where the views are amazing and really recommend trying it. Also managed to do The Happy Half Hour on The High Roller one evening. Visited Laughlin which was a bit of a jaunt via coach but nice all the same and really nice having a meal by The Colorado River looking over to Arizona and a different time zone I think. The wife always has to go The Gospel Brunch at The Mandalay Bay where we were staying this time.

    Always spend an evening up Fremont Street but generally we mainly just trawl the casinos on the strip as we still haven't been in all of them. Had a few other nice meals and mrs fell in love with Panda Express takeaway which saved my wallet a little. Ended up breaking even over the week maybe even slightly up playing a mix of blackjack, blackjack switch and slots. Had a nice little slot machine in Mandalay Bay really close to where the hostesses walk to and from the bar so we were generally getting topped up without a thirst setting in.

    Also went to see Big Elvis one afternoon photo.jpg
