I don't know much about it but just been evacuated from caesers palace due to a fire. A lot of fire trucks on scene. Heresay suggested a fire in kitchens underneath Julius tower...

Fire officials say three Caesars Palace hotel workers were taken to the hospital after a fire led to the evacuation of the Las Vegas Strip property early Monday.

The Clark County Fire Department says the fire reported about 3:30 a.m. came from the top of an escalator and spread to curtains. Smoke swept from a ballroom area into the casino, prompting the evacuation at nearby shops and parts of the Palace Tower rooms.

Three hotel workers suffered smoke inhalation.

It took about 25 minutes to contain the fire and the evacuation has been lifted. Damage is estimated at $100,000.

A Caesars spokeswoman didn't immediately have comment.By The Associated Press

Probably the only time their ancient dealers and cocktail waitresses moved fast in years.

I'm not sure I consider it a working escalator if it catches on fire.

It's a scary though to be on one of the top floors when an emergency breaks out like this.. Being you are at the mercy of thousands of other people who may or may not do something stupid in their drunken Vegas stupor and set the place on fire.
