I will be at Aria next weekend and I notice there have been a few changes since my last visit in August! Has anyone been to Herringbone yet? What is Gem Bar like and is it usually full? Is the Burger Lounge going to be opening soon?

Also, I would like to finally try the Spa...Is that the kind of place where you can go unwind for a couple of hours without having to sign up for anything extra (ie Massage, facial...)?

I can answer a couple of the questions.

Went to the Gem Bar last month. Nothing special and it was not full. Just a bar with TVs and VP. Nothing special about it whatsoever.

Yes, you can go to the spa without buying specific services. There is a feee for a day pass to the spa, but once you're in, you can use the amenities without purchasing other services

+ wife and I really enjoyed the spa, it was really relaxing as we just lounged for the afternoon, waiting to checkin.
    Highly recommended it.
    Enjoy

Its my favorite spa on the Strip. I go there almost every trip, no matter where I am staying

Gem bar is pretty much just a VP bar. Nothing to it. Was not busy at all when i was there in January. Easy place to get a drink though.
Never been to Herringbone, heard mixed reviews on it.

    The spa is great.

Our dinner at Herringbone was amazing. You must try Carbone as well, it was great too...

Just spent this weekend at Aria. Gem bar was always empty, looked like a good quiet place to grab a drink. Spent 6 hours (2 hours of treatment, the rest just hanging out) at the spa on Saturday, it is by far my favorite in Vegas. Their fitness center is amazing as well, we went both mornings we were there. Pool was already super busy.
    Burger place isnt open yet.

The spa is phenomenal. Day access if $30, I think. Well worth it. The ultimate hangover cure.

Herringbone received a couple good reviews from critics.
I was there NYE weekend when it opened and did not try it because all our reservations were set.The strange thing is it looks like an ultra lounge from outside and not a restaurant(couches, low tables etc).
That may work or they may have to tweek it to capture the dining crowd. They do have outside dining also near the pool.

Regarding the spa,my wife has gone there every time we have stayed at Aria 20+ times. She says it is her favorite.I use the gym there which is also great.
Burger Bar is supposed to open later this month.

I went there on nye weekend to herringbone.

If they would change to normal seating and not club style for hunched over eating it would be alot better.
Food and all was good though.

I'm interested to try only if I can get a real table outside. I'm hoping we can in April.
