My Pup Got His Spring "Do"

    Jaxon, aka Sweet Baby J (among others) went to the doggy spaw (see what I did there) for his spring "do". Here he is chillin' at the spaw after his pampering. Damn he is cute, even with the short cut. He requires a lot of grooming at home and had some matting I just couldn't get out.....so I opted for an early spring cut.

    Welcome to spring in our house - the ticks are out, and my cat the Great Hunter has tapeworm because she's been eating all the vermin emerging from their winter hidey holes. And she's shedding like mad so my allergies are acting up. But I love her because she's adorable.....And so is Jaxon!

    The groomer did a great job. I love his beard! How old is he? FWIW, that shorter coat is much easier to manage. So... maybe learn to like it. :haha:

    When I would take my papillon, Ruby, down to the Pismo Beach area to visit mom, we gave her almost a puppy cut to avoid having to pick all those burrs out of her fur when we go run around in the dunes. I think she's glad my parents moved away from there. Those naked legs were embarrassing at the dog park. She likes her fringe.

    Jaxon turned 1 on Feb 11th; he's a mini Australian Labradoodle. My big handsome, Buster will be 10 on St. Patrick's Day. He has been fighting liver disease since the fall and we have it under control with meds so every day with him is a gift. That big boy is THE best boy ever. When that day comes, hubby and I will be in therapy. We love Baby J, but he's a brat lol. Buster got over his brattiness at about 5 months and has been a dream ever since.

    I better get a pic of big handsome up here....off to Tapatalk.
