    My Trip Report

I usually do live trip reports in Vegas and figured I would do one for my brief Atlantic City Trip. The original plan was for me to go down today, stay the night and my wife was going to drive down Monday morning after the kid gets on the bus. We were going to do the 10 AM $5,000 Bingo. She isn't feeling well, so cancelling Bingo but I am still going down tonight. I also cancelled my day off for Monday since I get up early and will just come home and work from home.

I am staying at The Water Club in a comped room for tonight. I also got a comp ticket for The Comedy Club tonight. I figured I might as well check it out. I cashed in 2 MyVegas rewards, a $10 Bonus Slot Dollar, and some Borgata Paperweight which was only $1,500 points and I can put it on my desk at work. I have a small budget and will play some slots and maybe black jack. My wife is "allowing" me to go since it is my Birthday this coming Friday. I won't be using my budget tracking app like I do in Vegas, since this is a one nighter at one casino.

I should be headed out in a few minutes, I don't expect traffic to be a factor today.

I parked in the borgata garage rather than do the water club valet.

Here are pictures of borgata entrance from garage and lobby area

Water club lobby and room. There was only one person in line and I didn't see a black label line. They don't have any people corrals so I don't think they expect huge lines or something . I could only reserve a comp 2 queen room but the check in agent was able to give me a king. It is a hearing accessible room but she told me how to turn it off

The checkin agent was very friendly and helpful . She reminds me of my comedy club and bingo reservations . When I said I needed to cancel bingo, she called up and did it for me. It was a great front desk experience.

This is next to Harrah's correct? We will be going to H in May, but plan to spend some time at Borgata as well. I understand they smile upon CET Diamond members. Thanks for the pix!

Yes in the marina near hurrahs. As ngrund indicates you can match to black label. I matched to black label using my MLIFE gold.

Picked up my paperweight. From the instructions i thought I would get a voucher and have to go to gift shop or something, but the My Borgata guy went in the back and got it for me, so that was easy

Probably going to hit the buffet before the promotion ends at 7 pm and everyone heads to eat

Desserts. It looks like dinner may be around $34, I would not recommend it. For $10 comp dollars it is ok but i wouldn't pay $34. Lunch here a couple months ago seemed better, tonight the food wasn't great and the desserts I had were dry and flavorless

Keep up the winning ways Flig! Agree with your assessment of buffet. Worth it for $10.00 not for $34.00. Seems that after renovation food isn't as good
