Planning a trip this year. Is their $200 loss rebate promotion still active?

Not sure about a new rebate, but last week my girlfriend was able to get the second half of her rebate ($100) from our trip in Oct.....if I remember correctly there were still some rebate signs up, but I am not positive...........maybe just give them a call?

Just phoned them. No longer running. Instead, one can spin a wheel that awards anything from "free play to a Land Rover."

They are switching to the Marquee card (M Resort) on April 1st. Might have something new then. Our "local" casino is on that program and I get pretty decent FP from them.

Glad they decided to put Trop on the "M" program. I've always enjoyed the Trop, haven't stayed there in awhile but still stop in every trip. I like that the casino isn't a "mega" casino, I like the pool., I like swim up blackjack. Over the years there have been so many rumors of pending implosions/rebuilds. I'm glad it's stayed pretty much the same.

I stayed there before the remodel in the early 2000's and I liked my stay there a lot. It didn't feel like you were overwhelmed with everything. The rooms were nice, the pool as mentioned had a nice layout, and there was just enough gambling to be entertained.

I definitely liked it better than the Stratosphere and Circus Circus. I haven't been in there since the remodel; will have to check it out this year. The prices seem very good if you are looking so stay on the strip and want to do it relatively cheap.
