I recently watched a tv show called Food Porn and it featured a banana cream pie at Emerils in the MGM Grand. It looks amazing. Has anyone tried it? We are off to Vegas in a few months and really want to try it. [IMG]

Then the next show featured Yardbird at the Venetian and the chicken, waffles and watermelon looked awesome and I don't even like watermelon.

I told the hubby no buffets this trip when there's so many other options. Just don't know which ones to try since we're only going to be there for four days. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have had both. They are very good. You can also get the pie at Delmonico's (another Emeril's restaurant) which is also in the Venetian. Yarbird and Delmonico's are both on restaurant row in the Venetian.

Had the banana cream pie at Delmonico at the Venetian. It's very good and big enough to share, if you like.
Wife and I just wanted dessert and coffee ($20). Stopped in the small bar area out front which is "first come / first served."
The full menu is available there, except two things that are prepared table-side. Very nice experience.

I was told that each banana cream pie contains 24 bananas! I had it at Emeril's in New Orleans. It was great, would definitely order it again.

I've eaten the banana cream pie and the chicken, waffles and watermelon. Yum to both!!! Emeril has 3 restaurants at the Venetian/Palazzo - Delmonico, Table 10, and Lagasse's Stadium sports bar. All have the banana cream pie.

What hotel are you staying at? Are you looking for dining options close by, or are you open to eating anywhere? A few more details about what type of food and price range you're interested in will help get you additional restaurant suggestions.

Emeril's never has failed us over the many years. Yardbird is a tourist trap.

I've had Emeril's banana cream pie in New Orleans, and OMG it was so good. I looked for a recipe online after we got home and when I saw how much butter, cream and eggs were in it, no wonder it was so good.
