    My Trip Report

Flying out in 13 hours. Wanted to start this up and I'll be posting a ton of stuff. Deff a lot of pictures.

Of all weeks to get a terrible cold I got one Monday and I'm just getting rid of it. Hopefully I can doze off for almost 5 hours and get some rest!

This is a quick trip. Getting in Friday at 8:45am Vegas time and when we leave on 2/29 we leave 6 pm so we we will have plenty of time.

I hope my appetite is there because we have a ton of buffets we are doing. So I'll be sure to have a ton of food pictures.

This trip is my annual belated birthday and a gift to my dad I try and take him once a year and we also have a longtime friend coming along, unfortunately he doesn't gamble much. But I'll break away and get some Holdem, blackjack and VP in.

We are staying 3 nights at the Harris and for most of you who saw my thread about the mgm fire we are having free dinner and show 2/27 at the mgm. I'll be sure to post a bunch of pictures.

I'm going to do as much as I can to get this as live as possible but with this damn cold and trying to keep up I'll try my best!

    Be ready for the journey!

    Anthony

Good luck. I'm fighting a sinus cold as I got sick on Saturday. Luckily, my trip is in 5 weeks. Feel better, alcohol always helps. ;)

Not sure you guys do this live. Also I don't know how I'm alive I've been sicker than a dog thankfully NyQuil and sleep worked last night.

Woke up early this morning and played some tables for about 3 hours and went down $320

Played some Vp lost about 40.

Haven't played anything the rest of he day but did just get done eating dinner on Mr Herning at the mgm. Pub 1842 was really GREAT. Got a ton of food and can Barely walk to the comedy show.

    Here's a few pics.

I dunno how others do it either. I don't try. Maybe if I was solo. Sorry that you're not feeling well! Hope you can recover soon!

I think that's why most fail miserably at it. They make a Live TR thread before they leave because they're super excited to go, and then they make few posts from the airport/plane on the way, then take a quick pic of their room, then.... silence. Not that I can blame them, the last thing I would want to do in Vegas is bang away a TR from my phone or room, but that's why I would much rather prefer a post trip TR. It seems like the only live TRs that actually get carried out are Packer and the like, which are fun TRs but are also 5 pages of actual events and 50 pages of random conversation between posters.

Like you said, perhaps on a solo trip I could do a live TR, only because you have times where you're just sitting around doing nothing anyways, like when you're eating. Like I said, I can't blame anyone for not wasting Vegas time to update a TR, but I think people should just stick with the post trip TRs...

Hopefully OP is feeling better and can do a proper TR when he gets back.
