Does anyone have a strategy on how to increase your bets while winning?

In blackjack, I always play a 1,1,1.5,3,4 (based on units) system. So basically, if I play at a $25 table, I would bet:

    hand 1 $25(+25)
    hand 2 $25(+50)
    hand 3 $40(+90)
    hand 4 $75(+165)
    hand 5 $100(+265)

then I would reset back to $25 no matter what. so if I won 5 hands in a row, I win $265. This is not figuring in any double downs, splits or whatever. I used to have a more aggressive way, but then if I did get a split or DD, it would crush me if I lost(too many units out at once)

I have never thought of or tried a way to do this with craps. In craps I usually play $10 table. I play pass, take odds(not a lot of odds really), then will do 6/8 and maybe 1-2 come bets with odds. This spreads me out a ton of units as it is. Idk if there is a way to start with less bets, and press in if I win. Or just keep coverring more ground? Or taking more odds?

It is hard to press with come bets and pass bets, IMO, since they rotate numbers. You just don't have any control over where your money ultimately lands. However, if you are not at full odds, you can always increase your odds bet. You can also press your 6&8 when they are hitting. Since I play full odds most of the time, I just press my place bets. If a shooter is really hot or the table has been good, I'll go ahead and press my pass line and come bets. Being too aggressive with come bets/full odds can get you in trouble fast.

In your example I'd max odds then cover more ground.

Yup, what Coffee said. If the table/shooter is really jumping, after a few hits, I just take the winnings and press up all my bets a unit or so, and maybe drop some extra onto the odds. I rarely take full odds on come bets right away, as lady luck hasn't seen fit to stand next to me with those. In any case, when I've cleared my initial bets and grabbed a little profit, I don't mind trying to bring the big one home.

In craps if I have place bets up I will let them hit once and then start pressing "up a unit" on subsequent hits. Though if I'm at a place that has 10x odds or anything above the normal 3x4x5x I will add to my odds instead of pressing the place. It just depends on my mood on where the money goes.

Tell me about it...Last trip I would get loaded up with a Pass/Full Odds and 2 or 3 Come bets/Full Odds and a place bet or two and Bam I would get cleaned out....really sucks when that happens !!!!

Mostly play Craps and pressing is rarely the same twice.
The pressing methodology is so dynamic for me.
If the table seems to be doing just a few numbers before a 7, I am more apt to take any money I can get and not bother increasing bets.
If the same number seems to hit 3 times in a short number of rolls I start pressing a unit or two for my place bets.
If a number is just hitting for a particular shooting on rare occasions I parlay my bet but only the one time never did it twice.
No mathematical backing or proven method, but rather simply a gamblers "feeling" on how the table is flowing.

If I have all place bets covered up (or even just two or three) I'll take the payouts until I've recovered my money that I've put out on those bets. Then I press. When I recognize a hot roll I'll get aggressive. The real fun begins when each place bet is over s hundred bucks and the numbers just keep coming.

In blackjack if my base bet is $50 I'll win two hands and then press up a quarter each time. If my base bet is $100 then I'll press by $50 after two wins. I'll also put out a bigger bet if I've lost a couple in a row.

I play $22 inside when I have the dice. I press my first 3 hits (may be 3 numbers once or 1 number 3 times) and then collect the rest. I will press PL once.

I press my bets, but I don't have a set pattern. I have found that anytime that I try to press hard I lose. You just have to wait for the right time and start pressing after that.

yup. for my 5/6/8 (or 6/8/9, as the case may be), I'll start at $5 and press every other hit.
for pass line, what's nice about playing at at 20x odds table, is being able to go 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 20x, then add another unit to the base bet, and keep going.

I definitely press up my bets when playing craps or blackjack. Usually around a 40-50% jump of the previous bet on blackjack until I have four wins in a row. I then flat bet until I have a losing hand and start over. I use pretty much the same pressing ratio with my craps place bets and my pass line odds. Most of the "experts" say that your overall results will be pretty close to what you would have gotten with flat betting the average of all those bets. That is probably true but pressing things up provides me with a much more entertaining game.
