After following the low roller thread, I began to wonder...... What is my/ your roll. If you go for two days, a weekend, or longer, what is your daily BR? Just looking for a snapshot for an idea of what you think is a comfortable BR for just one day of your trip and what yor gaming preference is.....

I consider a High Roller as somebody that has an average bet of 1k or more. I consider a low roller as somebody that has an average bet of 25 dollars or less. Me personally? I'll take out around 10k with about 5k on "reserve". I'm pretty reckless with the 10k cash on hand and have lost the entire roll 45 minutes into my trip before. That was not a fun 4 day trip. These are just my thoughts and opinions. Some folks view a 25 dollar a hand player as a high roller....some view a high roller as 10k a hand player etc. To each their own and whatever makes you feel alive go for it.

I play $0.25 VP mostly and the occasional $5 BJ or 3CP or craps or penny video slots. I can get by on $100 a day. I'm in it for the "free" cocktails, pretty girls, and eccentric folks.

at our local casino our BR is 100 bucks each. And it makes it harder on me, because my husband doesn't know when to quit.

for our 5 days in Vegas we've budgeted 600 each per day gambling. we're strictly slots people, pennies usually. This is the biggest BR we've ever gone with. Should be interesting to say the least LOL

If someone from the casino walks up to you and asks if there is anything they can do for you, you are a high roller. If no one ever does that to you.......guess what?

I have a host at multiple casinos but you don't have to be a "high roller" to get that. If anything, I'm consistent and I put in plenty of hours per day. I could probably bet higher if I wanted to stick to just 4-ish hours. I usually play longer but lower the stakes accordingly.

My first ever gambling trip, the bankroll was $50. But for most of 2005 through 2010, my BR varied between $2k and $8k per trip. I have never broken it down by day. In 2011, I increased my BR to 20k. By the next year, I stopped having a BR in the sense the OP is asking. I started getting big credit lines and I generally know when I need to scale it back or I have lost too much. Fortunately those losses have never exceeded the amount I have in the bank. But I don't really think of a BR per day or trip anymore.

I normally budget around $400 per day on average. If it's a short 2-3 trip maybe I'll increase it to $500 - $600 a day. Definitely a low roller and when I think high roller I'm thinking the folks that play with black chips. If you're putting $100 on the line with a single bet (not like playing a $50 BJ hand a spltting or doubling) I consider you in another league of gambling than myself.

I've only ever had black chips in my hand a few times and always after coloring up at the $5 craps table. Maybe a bucket list for my next trip will be to put up a $100 bet. I don't think I'd actually be able to go through with it though

....it means I'm a low-roller, LOL! But I already figured that. As long as I have enough money to play the way I'm comfortable playing, then I'm happy!

This is how I met my host at my local casino. It really threw me off guard when she came up and asked are you "my name". I thought I was in trouble at first haha. She then offered me a bunch of stuff and gave me some free play. I was always a low roller and still don't view myself as a high roller. Maybe a medium roller....if that's a thing.

I'm a low roller. My BR for each day is between $500 and $700. I don't stay more than 3 nights. I play slots only. Pennies to quarters with the occasional dollar slot thrown in depending on how well I'm doing.

Allow me to redefine "low roller" - at least in terms of all the aforementioned bank roll numbers.

    Enter the mid-twenties college student:

The most I've brought was $1.2k to gamble with over a weekend - kept dropping hundreds into all the wrong slots/properties.

Usually I bring about $700 - $1,000 to gamble with for between 2 to 4 days. This weekend I'm going for 3 nights with $750 total. I usually play slots and always have fun. We'll see how it goes!

Low roller here. $300 slot bankroll per day. Husband has the same bankroll so I try to get him to play off my card, only way to gain status levels.
