I did a search and didn't find much. I was wondering if anyone has eaten there and what your impressions are? I've been to the one on Tempe a lot and love it, but curious how it translates to a casino environment.

My sixth trip to Vegas is next week and I've never been to hard rock, so thought this might be a good excuse.

I'm not sure what you're looking for. Are you a culinary dropout? Or, are you looking for a Hard Rock restaurant run by culinary dropouts?

I had the Captain Crunch French Toast at the Tempe location. It was pretty good. Sorry that I can't be of any help regarding the Vegas location.

I've eaten at the Vegas location many, many times as I frequent the Hard Rock Las Vegas. I really like CD. They have an outstanding Prime Rib Dip sandwich and their Fried Chicken is killer. The soft pretzels and fondue dip are addicting, as is the monkey bread dessert. It's not a place to go if you're in a hurry or looking for a quick "in and out" type meal. The servers are laid-back, as is the ambiance of the place. Servers don't wear uniforms and never seem to be in a hurry, but they're generally VERY friendly. the outside dining area is poolside with all the quality views a Hard Rock pool has to offer... this ain't the Treasure Island!

Outside dining by the pool? Yeah, that alone may have sold me.
    Thanks!

Now THAT is a great name for a restaurant. I'll check it out.

Thanks all! On a side note, just found out that the owner got nominated for a James Beard award.

Culinary Dropout is very good. I had a killer French dip sandwich there a couple of times. The pool-side patio is great. They have a decent cocktail list and they make their own breads in house. I strongly recommend it!
