CET free buffet comp

Hey all. Sorry for the novice question here, but on the CET website, they have an ad for "free buffet with 50 tier credits". First, I am mostly a table player, so how they heck to do I know when I get to 50 tier credits? Then, how do I go about cashing in on the free buffet? Do I go to the TR desk and get a voucher, or will they comp it at the register when I go to the buffet?

Also, how many times can you do this per day/week/trip? If this has been answered in another thread, I do apologize. My search couldn't find it.

 

I have not been able to find it on the CET website. Do you have a link? Would be awesome If they adopted this for every CET casino!

If you are just referring to Las Vegas (I still don't see if on the CET website) but there is a couple ways to know when you have passed 50 tier points.
- Ask the pit boss to check
- stick your card in a slot machine (usually you will need to insert it, take it out and re insert it so it will update with table play points)
- go to the TR rewards desk and ask
- find the Buffet Kiosk, swipe your card and see if you have qualified yet. (if you have not it will tell you how many more you need)

Once you have 50 points you need to either go to the kiosk or the Total Rewards counter and ask them to print out a slip you take to the Buffet. (when you get the slip you will be asked what buffet you want to go to. Once you print it you cant change your mind and go to another buffet)
You can do this once a day. (I did 4 days in a row last weekend)

 

Lower limit table games usually accrue 18-21 TC's per hour at CET properties. Higher stakes should give you more.

 

At Planet Hollywood they have some kiosks to the left of the TR desk that you swipe your card at to get your buffet pass.

I didn't know about this promotion until the last day of my January trip and I still had my diamond celebration dinner to redeem. Too bad, would have saved a ton on food + gotten to eat some delicious buffets. Hopefully this is something they keep going for when I'm back in May/June. I know the promotional period says Jan 29 - Mar 31 but it was available at PH when I was there January 14-18 because I saw the kiosk. So hopefully it extends past March 31st

 

This is one of the best promotions I have seen in a while.

I really hope they come to the conclusion that is generates more excitement for gambling at their casinos and just keep it going for a long time!

 

I was at CP for Valentines for 2 days on comp. Was getting my free show tickets and they told me I had a buffet; however, I wasn't able to redeem it for Caesar's which is where I was staying..... Very odd

 

You can earn once a DAY, but use two in the same day if you like and if you want the better buffets you can pay an upgrade fee. If I recall correctly free ones are PH, RIO, Flamingo, Harrahs, Ballys and Paris.

FYI the Paris buffet has gone downhill. Much less variety then in my past experiences. Steamed crabs legs was nice tho

 

LOVE this promo, and will definitely take advantage of it next trip. We love Paris for their breakfast buffet (maybe my favorite), but prefer PH for lunch and dinner. Never tried any of the others, but would like to try Rio since we've never been there, period, and hear good enough things for the buffet.

I'm tables, too, and when we had a similar promotion at my local when they actually had a buffet, I'd swipe my card after my desired play and fill in the extra with some VP. I was never more than a few points short. Heck, if you're there playing, why not pick up a buffet in the middle of the action?

Yes you can
when you claim the voucher (regardless of what casino you are at when claiming it) you will be asked what buffet you want the voucher for.
also (incase you were asking if you need to print the voucher before moving to the next casino) .. I earned a bunch of rewards credits and forgot to get the voucher before waling over to Harrahs. I was able to print out the voucher at Harrahs even tho I did not earn a single point there (earned them all over at PH)

 

I hope this is still going in April.

 

Right now the promo is scheduled to end 3/31.

Planet Hollywood had it before Christmas as well but didn't have it during NYE. They brought it back on January 4th I believe.

 

Also, once you print the voucher, it is good for 48 hours. You need to print on the day you earn, it though. You do need to use the special promotions kiosk which will have a graphic on the screen listing the promotion. I used the one in PH and the one in Bally's. There is another thread with info as well.
