I heard they have an off menu item called 777 Gamblers special.. a Steak 3 pieces of shrimp and something else for $7.77 obviously for that cheap it has to be small portion. Anyone ever get it? would like a review of it.

I had it a few years ago; it was about what you'd expect for the price.

I had it in October... actually I thought it was fairly generous.. however the steak was really peppered and had I know I would have requested it not be since I don't care for peppery steak...

I have heard mixed emotions on it. But for 7.77 my expectations would be really low so anything edible for that price having steak and shrimp you can't really complain! Thanks for the feedback

I think it's great. Way better than Ellis Island IMO. I usually make a point of going to get it each trip. Everything exceeds my expectations for the price tag.

It a decent meal for a GREAT price! No... it's not a $50 meal for $7.77, but it's good value.

With the Ellis Island special, I think the steak sucks but everything else is great. I really like their ranch dressing on the salad that comes with the steak special. I also like the beans, fries and their house-made root beer a lot.

That side stuff keeps taking me back to EI. And it's walkable from the Strip, while Hard Rock is a tough walk.

We ordered it when we first went to Vegas close to about 10 years ago.
The steak was, well, just what you would expect for that price.
Its a cheap cut of meat.

It really isn't 7.77 any longer since you are now required to purchase a beverage and their sodas are like 3 bucks. So it's a 10.77 steak and shrimp special. You also get potatos. I live right across the street from the place and have only gotten the special ONCE in 2 years. Before that it was a staple of my vegas diet but back then it was 5.95! No drink was required.
