From looking at the different trip reports and various other postings, I rarely see deuces wild VP mentioned, and rarely see it listed on the vpfree2 website.....it is one of the few games at my local casino that has a fairly decent payout table, so I have been playing it more often than not and have developed a liking for it...........will I be able to find it on the strip (CET mostly) at a decent paytable for $1 ? How about downtown (mostly DTG or the Plaza)? Thanks

I play some VP - and love D-Wild. Just plain fun. Less common, but it is out there.

I like to play DW to change it up. I have hit my last two Royals on DW. But it is a game that requires more thinking so if I get too drunk I have to go back to easier VP games.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but from what I have seen the DW payables on the strip are horrible even at the $1 level...my Dad still likes to give his money away at the bartop 25c machines...usually they are like 93%-94% machines or worse...

but to answer your question, yes DW is out there...

DW is my favorite VP version, unfortunately paytables are usually worse than what you will find with the "bonus" games, at least at CET properties.

I usually play DW w/ DSTP, which can be found on all star II bartops with a paytable that returns about 96.5% when you factor in the DSTP.

Deuces wild is on most VP bar tops. It is my favorite to play at Mizuya Bar at Mandalay because I can usually sit and play for long periods, get my comped drinks and listen to Phoenix at the same time. Only 8 days more days on my countdown!

There are so many DW pay tables it's almost impossible to keep track of what's paying 98% and what's paying 94%. For my own sanity, I went to www.wizardofodds.com and put all the info into an Excel spreadsheet. I printed it at about 40% size and stuck it in my wallet. Now when I'm looking for DW I can whip out my mini cheat sheet and see what %age they're offering.

I've done very well on Deuces Wild Dream Card at Ballys. On the back wall they have a single line and a multiline a few machines to the right of the first one. It's fairly easy to get the 4 Deuces on the multi line and you can play for 5c as well. I've also done well on the 5c Deuces Wild Ultimate X at Cromwell. I doubt the paytables are good but I'm sure I've come out ahead on both these or at least even which is fine by me. Beware though as on Dream Card if you get dealt 3 Deuces and one to a Wild Royal it will give you the fifth card for the wild royal on the dream card. You can change that manually to the fourth Deuce. Sneaky!!!

I don't like the lack of bonus payouts on deuces. I also don't like the fact that playing deuces, by the nature of the beast, will result in fewer royals. Give me DDB any day.

With that being said, you should have no trouble finding DW downtown or anywhere for that matter. The one "common" VP game that is seemingly getting harder to find is Bonus Poker Deluxe.

DW is my favorite Video Poker game as well. But the Strip casino payouts are basically slot payouts (even at $1); I head to the Palms, M or Green Valley Ranch to play VP.

My gal plays deuces, but she is absolutely terrible at it. I have tried tons of times to get her to switch to a better game, but she just won't. In ten years, she has never hit anything of substance. She will have 3 to a royal, and dump them. She only looks for 2s!

Plaza should have 25/15/9/4/4/3 "Airport Deuces" (98.91%) at the Omaha Bar. Not sure about DTG.

As for CET, Cromwell has 25/16/10/4/4/3 "Not So Ugly Ducks" (99.73%) near the strip entrance. This is currently the best game in the CET Vegas empire. I know it's current because I had a quick ugly session on it last night. Doh! Two drawbacks to the game though.

    1) quarters only
    2) $50 coin-in per tier credit instead of $10.

After that machine, the best deuces you're likely to find at CET is 20/12/10/4/4/3 Deuces (97.58%). :(

Also many CET properties on the strip (Harrahs, Flamingo, Linq for sure, but I think Caesars might have some by the shops entrance) also have 100 play machines with Super Times Pay for pennies. When playing the STP feature, it returns 97.00%. It's a little more fun when things like this happen, hit at Flamingo yesterday.

Other strip properties occasionally have "airport deuces". Most notably cosmo for 100-play pennies only. Mirage has it on their 1 to 100 poker machines for dollars with a $5 bet giving a full royal payout. Just make sure you don't hit max bet unless you want to bet $100!

Other places on the strip that have airport deuces for dollars. Luxor high limit bar. SLS many banks on the floor. TI a bank near the lounge area behind casino bar. Hooters (almost on the strip) all bars.

Ugh. I hope she's got 4 Deuces a few times at least. I play the quarter level sparingly, but still haven't hit 4 deuces on quarters. :( Done it on nickels several times though. Grrr.

It is on most VP bartops, but some of the strip paybacks are godawful. Especially CET properties. The game king bartops are all set to 94.82% regardless of the level you play!

You definitely weren't playing deuces the night I met you! [emoji481]

Red Rock Casino is a VP player's dream and has every deuce's game available with the best paytables. Closer to the strip is Palms and Treasure Island also has some good games, but you have to look at each machine carefully. There is an app you can download from videopoker.com that has every paytable percentage possible. This included all Deuce's, Joker, Ultimate X, Super Times Pay, etc. I use it every time I play.

I played it at the Grand a few weeks ago and never really hit anything, But I hit the one below in WVA about 3 months ago playing Deuces (Check out the Crazy max bet .25 Machine but max bet was 20 credits or $5, never seen that before and my Drunk ass was letting it eat and didn't realize it until I had played a few hands, Glad I kept the pedal down)...I like Deuces and have had some luck with it, a while back at the Flamingo I hit 4 deuces twice and hit it again at the Airport of all places. DT Grand has Bar Tops and stand ups, Cant remember what the Pays were but I'm thinking 7/5, I like the place, if you get hungry hit Pizza Rock across the street, damn good pizza !!. Good Luck !!!
