As many VMBers know, you can get really nice craft cocktails comped while playing VP at the many bars at Cosmo. Not sure if anyone has posted this, but it's the first time I've heard, but the new CliQue bar at Cosmo has VP, but won't comp any of their craft cocktails. At least according to this article: http://bit.ly/1PMnL9r

Anybody played there yet? First Cosmo starts adding in the drink ticket system a la Mirage, and now they are taking their queue from Bar 3535 at the Linq and not comping craft cocktails for VP players... I really hope they don't implement this at all their bars.

Doh.. but I assume they don't want us smelly video poker players in there anyway! [emoji12]

I was shocked they put vp units in there as it is.

Still sounds pretty reasonable to me.

It's very reasonable. Basically, your exposure is at most 5 bucks each time you put 20 in.

Usually when I put $20 in, my exposure is $20. Actually, it is more because I put another $20 in. LOL!

Is there an option to pay a few bucks to cover the "difference"?

A few bucks can grease the palms of most anyone behind the bar. Perhaps a fiver or a tenner on the bar as what would have been the supplement plus what would have been the tip could lead to a drink being punched as a comp drink, but with some fixings to make it basically the same as a craft cocktail.

agreed, at least you're not limited to well drinks or something, but their other bars were well known for comping craft cocktails and that was always a big draw, and now they won't comp those anymore, just another perk of going to Vegas that is fading into the night.
