That had to be a programming error or something, or maybe you sat at a machine meant for a billionaire looking to go bankrupt. I snuck into town on New Year's for a quick trip and it was $50K. They don't even go that high at Marina Bay Sands.

The Imperial Baccarat machines were definitely at $1.2 million max when I played in September with a minimum of just $5. Pretty incredible spread!!! I took a picture of the machine and even chatted with the dealer about it. They did advertise $50 K max in ads around the hotel so I don't know what they are right now. I love these machines because you can play around at up to four different tables in case you hit a losing streak and also -- no tipping required! bacctable.jpg

Pretty sick. I wouldn't be shocked if they changed that though. That's "too high".

That photo is incredibly blurry where it says the limit, but I believe you. Sands is known for having the highest limits. Maybe some kind of special event was in town, a special player was in town that wanted to be able to play on any machine, or they were trying to go for a Guinness world record lol. I was over there the day before New Year's eve and it was the regular $50K. I wonder if they have it back up for Chinese New Year. I agree with you, I think these machines are the best way to play baccarat by a wide margin.

Holy crap, it was cold. Tried to play golf today, too cold to take pictures. 40 mile winds, trash flying everywhere, my ball kept falling off the tee and rolling on the green. Made it to 13 holes with the help of three hot dogs.

Had the whole course to myself however...

Got more theo in two hours at Wynn than in six at the Cosmo. Something seriously wrong with Cosmo theo calculations but I've been complaining for a couple years now...

Everything else was ok, but I was probably too cold to notice much...not to be a crybaby but this was the coldest I've ever played...

For reference here's my theo from last trip.
    PH:
    6 hours
    $1,000 average bet
    $3,385 theo ($585 per hour)

    Cosmo:
    10 hours
    $1,000 average bet
    $6,800 theo ($680 per hour)

Average bet was actually $997 at PH with just under six hours and $1,017 at Cosmo with 10:08.

Both were majority baccarat with some BJ. Probably more BJ at PH than Cosmo.

hate to ask you this during your trip and i imagine you have discussed this in a previous thread but how would you explain your baccarat strategy to a newbie. thinking about trying the game for the first time during my upcoming trip.

    thanks
