Yesterday I dug myself into a hole and was down $880. I decided to try a HL slot with $200 for one last shot at getting it back. I found a $5 three reel machine and bet the max ($25 per spin). I lost my first $100 in 4 spins then put my next $100 in. I hit a small one for $60 then another no win spin. Then I hit $1090, cashed out and left feeling very lucky.

I don't think HL slots are for me so I will stick to my $5 max machines. I was lucky this time but I know that's not going to happen often. Made me wonder what is the most everyone else has ever bet on one spin? And did you win?‎

My husband bet $150 in January on one spin. The machine was a $1 machine that was not in the high limit room. He put his voucher for $153.00 in and hit max bet and was stunned when he only had the $3 left. No, he did not win on that spin :(

Not really a slot player, but every now and then I play the $25 VP machine. So I guess $125 is the most I have wagered on a slot

I have tried a $500 slot at Aria once...$1000 pull. It took me longer to feed the bills, than the entire sequence of pushing the button, watching the reels spin, then land on blanks...poof...dreams crushed.

Wow that is crazy that a $1 slot would max out to $100....I wonder what that would have paid?

Ever since the Lions Share was won, my new vegas tradition is a one credit pull on a $100 slot. 0 - 4 so far...

Years ago at a local casino I was up $250 and didn't need the money because I was young without responsibility, so I did spins at $45 a spin on my favourite red white and blue machine until the $250 was gone.

Now a days I usually max out at $20 a spin for a couple $100's on a cleo machine at Flamingo

I made the same mistake at Encore It was a $1 machine and the maximum number of lines was 50 with a 3 coin limit per line. It was out in the "general" casino.

    Oops!!

    $150! Ouch!

My highest was $15. I think I did it 3-5x in the high limit room at the Orleans on the way to bed one night. Guess I'm a cheap skate. :)

Back when most machines were coin droppers, I'd put $20 into a $20 Rich and Famous and spin - if I won, I'd cash out and drop in various other $20 until I hit or lost the coins. Ah...the old days at Casino Niagara.

At Caesars one day. Had been playing some penny slots at $5 or $10 max per spin. While walking around, I put in my $300 TITO and hit max on a similar/same slot. 3 spins later I am almost busted. What the hell? Turns out it was a $1 machine that you could still play 50 lines, etc.

I pay a bit more attention now. Wish it would have hit something.

Most of my crazy slot pulls were like 8+ years ago when I was foolish :p

Did a $1000 slot pull once at MGM... I lost
Did a $500 Slot pull once at (Monte Carlo I think?).. I lost
I have done too many $100 slot pulls to count.. Still do atleast 5-10 every vegas trip. Most I have won was in Windsor. It was $9000 (thankfully it was in Windsor so they did not hold any)

We tried a $100 spin at the Wynn and got nowt. We also put $200 in a $25 (2 credit, $50 a spin) Top Dollar at the MGM and whilst we didn't get the feature we did hit $600 on our last spin and cashed out.

I suspect we'll play the $25 machine a bit more when we're next over but it'll be at the end of the day and only if we've got enough left from our daily budget.

Back in the 80's a buddy and I did one spin for a hundred dollars. Now, back then, when you put a hundred in a quarter machine, those credits would ring up just like a jackpot. You literally had to wait until all those credits racked up, and we were used to that sound.

Now, imagine putting that same hundo into a $100 machine, and hearing one quick, and lonely "ting". That was sobering!

Not quite as sobering as hitting that start button and walking away down a hundred!

Yeah we were shocked that it wasn't in the high limit room. Last April though he was playing the Sex and the City slotg in the high limit area at Caesars Palace. He put a voucher for $400 in and bet $50 on the third spin he got a bunch of wilds for a handpay of $1690.00. Two minutes after they paid him and walked away he hit another handpay for $1,635.00 and the next day on the same machine hit for $1,550.00. Always on wilds, no bonus rounds.

I like the $5 WoF (2 credit) the $5-10 Top Dollar (2 credit) If I can find the $5 (5 credit) WoF I will usually put in a few hundred. Oh and the $10 Pinball slot. Usually limit myself to 1k per session though, so I have busted out pretty quickly before, on the other hand, if I happen to string together a few bonus rounds on these machines it puts me up fairly nicely. And not so much a slot, but $1 VP usually gets some good attention (sober) then I go down to .50c or even .25c once the drinks take their toll.

I did $15 a spin for a while when trying to get the Cosmo loss rebate, even then it was hard to stomach LOL. Since then, never more than $5 a spin. Maybe if I have a 4 figure win I will try a bigger bet :p

$300 a spin on $5.00 10-play video poker. Put in $3,000, was down to about $1,000 when I hit a Royal for $20k.
