All have hot appetizers for 2 hrs. Various snacks and desserts during the other hours. Harrah's has a decent salad spread out at all times.

Anyone know if you can get free internet access in the Diamond Lounges?

I did in the Paris diamond lounge, but it was painfully slow, it might be quicker out on the casino floor............ and no it was not porn, I was just trying to check my emails!:evillaugh....... seriously, it is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the casino, enjoy a nice calm cocktail and go thru the 100s of emails you collect in a day.

Seems like Harrah's DL has the best selection of sweets and they sometimes have a salad. Harrah's and Planet Hollywood seem to be the least crowded.

The only DL in Vegas I have ever seen real food was at Harrahs. Twice have been there when they had a chef slicing a carving roast. Now both times happen to have been Saturdays so don't know if it was because being Saturday or some other special occasion. It was actually very, very good. Had mashed potatoes, gravy and veg and the salad bar. Have been there other times during the 'hot food hours' and no roast just the usual app food.

Be curious if any one knows if this is a normal Saturday thing there.

Though not a lounge, the bar 3535 at The Linq offers free drinks for Diamond from 4-7. They have hot food on Fridays.

What FunkyJ said, I stopped there last week and was surprised how much I enjoyed myself, and they did have the same food spread out you would find at Caesers. The bartender even let me comp a strangers drink because I wasn't with a guest.

HOLY CRAP! Never heard of this before. Almost worth a new post. Link to a little about this bar.

Looks like another night or more "drinking" dinner.

Checked in last Friday and they mentioned they had just started doing this "happy hour" since they currently do not have a DL.

Interesting, will definitely check out the 3535. The PH DL had decent snack food. Chicken wings, some sort of steak skewer thing, salad etc. This was during the 2 hour period. The drink service was outstanding though.

Bound Bar at the Cromwell also comps drinks for Diamond 4-7.

Did they change things? I thought that drinks in the Diamond Lounge were always comped. Maybe I must have always gone there during the special time-of-day.

    I misread the earlier posts.

I think this Founders Club Diamond status thing is looking better and better for the low roller. Between the resort fees, jumping the q's, lounges etc, I think I would get my money's worth in one trip and a second trip would just be gravy.

Nothing has changed, drinks are always free in the DL no matter what time you go. The Linq and Cromwell don't have Diamond Lounges so they are just giving Diamond and Seven Star players an option to fill that void.

Do they still scan your card there or how does that work? I know when you enter the Diamond lounges, it triggers a gaming day. Wonder if this is the same?
