I am looking for an e-mail address for a host at Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. If you have a good host and would pass on there e-mail address it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dan

It would help if you posted your average bet, BR, games, ADT, etc. That way you can get a recommendation for the right level or type of host.

If you want to randomly email one, there is contact info for a few of them on vpfree2.com in the Cosmopolitan section.

Thank you BayouBengal, I will check out that site. I'm just looking for an e-mail address for a regular run of the mill casino host, nothing extreme.

This is what you asked for a Wynn host as well.

Thank you pleepleus for stating the obvious. Yes, I did ask about casino hosts for 2 different locations.

Well, I never figured host information would be such a secretive thing.... Last I knew, a hosts job was to talk with people who have an interest in gambling / staying at their resorts and making a decision on what (if anything) they wanted to offer that individual. Also, I never knew that it was looked upon negatively to contact more than one host to see who would offer you the best deal to stay / play at there resort. Sorry for the STUPID question and wasting your time.

By the way, I don't feel like I need to lay our my entire gambling history / patterns just to possibly receive an e-mail address

Danny, please don't take it personally. The veterans on the board understand that a great host is a real asset, and that a good player-host relationship is based on trust and mutual respect and has been developed over time.
Thus, we are not going to share our contact to a great host without knowing you first, because you might turn out to be a difficult player who will make life miserable for our prized host, and they will remember this, and could jeopardize our relationship. I'm not saying YOU are a difficult person, I'm just laying out the thought process.
I hope you can put yourself in our shoes.
And the "double posting" set off red flags because trolls tend to do this. Again, I'm not saying you are a troll, just explaining the thought process.

Danny, referrals to a host reflects on the player.

I don't provide host referrals unless I know the person that I'm referring. Either that or if I don't care about my relationship with the host.

That is why they were asking for some background information.

I don't understand this. Its an old debate that comes up every year or two on the Board. The OP is not asking for a member's name. So how is the host supposed to associate the new player with the referring member? Plus, IMO, its no the job of any member to be a gatekeeper for his or her host (unless, of course, the host has asked the member to do that, which I have never heard of happening)

What DaiLun said. If you'd like a host, I suggest you contact the hotel directly and ask them to assign you one. Their website has these contact points for Identity Members:

Thank you UKFanatic. I was never asking to use anyone elses name as a referral to a host. I simply was asking for an e-mail address so that I could reach out and make my own impression on a host. I never thought my request was out of line or that I was asking for secretive information.

Danny, I don't think anyone thought your question was out of line. It comes up pretty regularly on here.

I didn't have a host at Cosmo. I asked a few friends for their host's info. I got glowing recommendations for one and when I met her last week, she asked me who put me in touch with her. If I had been a needy customer I think that would have reflected poorly on my friends.

Yeah, but that's a different scenario. In this situation, it would be impossible to tell the host who referred you. If someone said "Gamesman" referred me, its going to be pretty hard for that to reflect poorly on you. Unless that's your real name :poke:

I said PT and showed the Twitter feed. She knew who I meant. [emoji33]

LOL, didn't really, but that would have been mildly entertaining.

Well, that might reflect poorly on you for entirely different reasons lol :drunk: Just kidding PT
