Anyone have any experience on the difference between the Jubilee Jr Suite and a standard Jubilee room? Is it just a bigger room or does it have any add'l features to make it worth booking over a regular Jubilee view room?

It's available right now for me to book in April at $0. I would be giving up $60 freeplay (only April offer so far) to get the Jr Suite. I would much prefer a slot tourney & also am concerned in booking this now I will be blocking the regular April offers from displaying & missing something desirable. (I've had that happen before).

So just looking for any opinions on if it is 'worth' it to get a Jr Suite vs. a regular room?

Host is out for a few days so can't get any detail on the room from him.

    Thanks in advance.

I did. I have the ability to do things myself. But guess what - it didn't provide any pertinent data. Doesn't say 'separate seating area', microwave, etc. Gives me nothing that gives a clue as to whether the room is just bigger or what. B

The junior suites are just a little bit bigger than a regular room. Nicer bathroom but nothing too special. If it were me I would stick with the regular room and try the $20 tip trick. I have been pretty successful at Ballys. That way you get both and only give up $20.

I'm in a Indigo Junior Suite this weekend. Haven't been in one before.

We are staying in a Jubilee Junior Suite in April all comped. On their Web Site it says 850 sq ft. Heard big and nice.

Most hotel sites are often vague and not accurate with room descriptions. Often they even use the same picture for different room types. Asking others sometimes gets better information.

    Ballys site says this:
    INDIGO JUNIOR SUITE | 1 KING | NON-SMOKING
If extra space is what you desire, the Indigo Junior King Non-Smoking suite is perfect. The 780-square-foot Art-Deco suite features an additional sitting area and a stylish bathroom with a separate shower and tub.

Based on this and the picture, I would GUESS it is just a larger room.

I'll let everyone know what it is in April. My Friend stayed in one and said a lot larger.

Just got back. Rooms heater was screwy. Water stains on ceiling. Wall paper peeling off under toilet paper holder. Screw cover missing from toilet seat. Sliding window didn't seal well and you could hear wind and traffic pretty easy. Glad it was comped.

The video on the thread is of an Indigo Jr. Suite. But basically these are rooms at the end of the hallways in the Jubilee tower. There could be one located center tower as well next to Grand Suite rooms. I stayed in one, back before the remodel. They are basically larger versions of standard Jubilee rooms. The bathrooms have a private pooper closet, where the toilets are out in the main bath area in standard Jubilee rooms. Separate dressing and makeup area, tub / shower combo, and large closet. You also have a small sitting area table.

Basically you are paying for a larger room and bath. The view may or may not be better than the standard Jubilee room since these are at the normally located at the end of the tower, you have a 25% shot at getting a great south facing view.
I personally would not give up the FP for this room. I think you could probably get an Indigo Jr. Suite for free and only the decor and age is going to be different. The North facing strip views are pretty good as well IMHO. The only upgrade at Ballys worthwhile to give up comp value IMHO would be the Tower Suite, Grand Suite, or Celebrity Suite which have the upgraded baths and whirlpool tubs.

There's not going to be any really great base room in the CET inventory unless you get into Caesars or Cromwell. Suite upgrades from base rooms IMHO that are worth while at CET (I have stayed at all the properties) are the following:

    Flamingo Metropolitan Suite
    Harrahs Executive Suite
Planet Hollywood Resort Room with Fountain view (Strip suite not worth the upgrade)
Ballys Grand Suite or Tower Suite
    Rio Carioca Suite
Caesars - Palace Tower (upgrade from Forum)

Just to qualify what I mean, higher ADT players in the CET system can on some occasions get a bump up form their front end comp offer (depending on the value). So for example if you are a higher tier Diamond or even a high ADT plantium card holder
you should always try to ask for the next grade room as comp. It's unrealistic to ask for say a PHo panormaic suite when your front end comp on an offer is a Hollywood Hip room. If you have a relationship with a host or even a casino sales executive you can request
and sometimes get the room upgrade based on availability. I have also been able to get a room upgrade from the comp at check in but asking nicely and not being to particular. I have always been offered to upgrade for a fee. Example moving from a Flamingo Go room to a suite for a $30 a night upgrade on an already generous front end offer. I think on the marketing offer you have, its gonna be tough unless you have a good relationship with your host and he willing to extend the front end value of the offer.

I know in your thread you said you were waiting to hear back from host, but is your offer over a weekend or a weekday. If its a weekday tournament / freeplay offer and not coming off a holiday, I would say you have a pretty good shot at getting the upgrade unless the marketing offer is really strong for your level of play. IMHO you should ALWAYS ask for the room upgrade since its the cheapest comp for the casino to give and try to get to the property shortly after checkout when inventory is at its highest.

We had a Deluxe Jubilee with strip view & we loved it. (great size & loved the new bathrooms) A friend had the Jubilee Jr Suite & it was a bit larger. If there are 2 people....might like the extra space but if I was alone - would much rather have the Deluxe room/view with $60 free play. Just my opinion....

Thanks guys - I'm keeping the FP offer - think it is the best decision for me. I'm going to just ask for same room or close to what I had last trip (7021). Had great view & closer to elevator than the #37 or so I had trip before.
