    Hi there,

I have booked an offer for a weekend in may at MB in a GR suite with 100$ resort credit.

Last week I received an offer for a room in Delano with 100$ resort credit and 50$ freeplay.

Which one of the 2 offers would you consider the better one and why. I am not sure if I would change my booking to Delano or not?

    Thanks alot!

I would go with the Delano as I am not a fan of the Great Room suite. The layout of it is just strange to me. The freeplay would just be a nice addition.

I would definitely go with the Delano. The hotel is so peaceful.

Definitely the Delano. GR suite is really not a suite. Delano has a separate seating area with a half bath. I find that the Delano is nice and quiet and catching an elevator is quite easy compared to MB sometimes.

Are the prices for the two rooms identical (assume comped)? If so, then Delano every day of the week.

    Yes both rooms are comped.

We have Some family who will stay in MB (already booked and paid for). Do you think they will be able to join us us at the Delano pool if we move over there?

Yah not sure on the guests allowed either, but even at MB pool at busy times, they check to see how many in your room, and allow you that many. So, only assuming 2 keys, 4 people? MB is pretty strict, so assume Delano is stricter. Guests complain when they are staying and can't find a seat, and then you have your CHAIR SAVERS, who come down at 8 am and put stuff on 4 or 6 chairs at the wave pool, and then go away till the afternoon. That is prime real estate for the drink girls, so not nice for them. Children are allowed in the Delano pool but haven't had a problem with that. The chess board is cool to watch. The Delano beach pool is an oven with little breeze because it's walled on all sides, but May should be okay. And when it just opened, they didn't have any lounges for sale, so you could get a seat facing the sun,,,last couple times they had a whole lounge section closed off for buy in only. I do use the Delano pool to cut through to the east and west pools in the back. Get a bit more breeze. Back on Delano over MB. It's quieter over there. And rarely do you have to line up for an elevator like an earlier comment. You have the extra powder room. Try it for a night..You can always move back over to MB.

The best part of staying at Delano is..... you get to decide which pool area, suits your needs.

The Delano pool is much quieter than the other pool areas...that's about it. If it's busy and you can't find loungers at MB....you will probably find some there.

Stressing about getting guests into the pool area at this time, is unnecessary. There ate plenty of great options, at the whole MB complex.

If it's just another couple, swap keys before walking in. Each couple could probably present one key at the Delano pool entrance. :wink2: In my experience you just show your key card (vs. scanning at the entrance of all the pools) and half the time there wasn't anyone there checking keys. But if you're coming with a crowd, chances are probably slim.

    Thanks for all,the replys!

When I checked the website of MB yesterday, there was no more GR suite showing...?
Does it mean that they are all renovated now and called differently? (Elite king or executive king?)

I stayed at the Delano last year and I liked it better than the regular MB rooms. I remember a few people saying it was further from the Casino but it wasn't really that bad of a walk. I like the "secluded" feel of Delano.

I have never understood those who say Delano is further than MB from the casino, maybe from the BJ and Bacc but it at least feels like it is closer to the Craps and many of the slots HL room included and definitely closer to the Poker and Sports book.
