    My Trip Report

This trip occurred last year and I wrote a report on it but never showed anyone. I always felt that nobody would want to hear my story or find my writing interesting. Hence, I just kept it in a folder titled 'Personal'.

However, I've been an active visitor on this site and frequently peruse all the different trip reports. Can I just say I love the reports written by everyone.

So here's mine and I hope you guys like it.

I’m a 26 year old Singaporean who has been a poker enthusiast since my college days. By no means am I a solid player. In fact, I’m just a lucky guy who has never played anything bigger than 20cents/40cents home games and $1/$3 cash games in casino. However, since I just watched a total of 2 RIO videos and read 3 strategy threads on this forum, I’m going to take a shot at $5/$10 for cash games and play the Aria $565 and play 4 WSOP Main Event $500 Satellites. I’ll be staying at Aria from 2nd July to 6th July and possibly cancel my New York Trip if I do play the Main Even and make Day 3 and I’ll cancel my UK Trip if I make Day 6/7 of the Main Event.

My poker lifetime career earnings stands at - $11 456, this number is severely underestimated as I’m sure I don’t record all my losing sessions on my phone. In fact, my life time baccarat earnings stands at -$33k+. Okay, maybe I should swap the word ‘earnings’ with ‘losses’. Well, now you know that I’m Asian since I play baccarat.
With that said, I’m been very blessed in life. I don’t want to reveal my day job because it might narrow down your search on me. Let’s just say I’m riding the boom in Asia. Thus, I’ll be bringing 6k USD to AMERICA. Expenses such as hotel and car have been paid for. I do expect Aria to comp me on my food for the amount of baccarat I’ll be playing. Is this possible? Someone please let me know

    Pre-boarding
I’m wearing slippers, khaki shorts and a plain white t-shirt about to board this plane at Singapore Changi Airport. FWIW, I think Changi Airport is one of the best airports in the world with Singapore Airlines being the absolute best in the sky. I’m about to board this baby right here.

Did I mention that I’ve got a free upgrade to business class. Obviously the $20 vegas trick doesn’t work here. The person behind the check-in counter also doesn’t have the authority to upgrade you (at least that’s what I know). However, I’ve got a friend working on the inside who put a note on my account to upgrade me and ta-da! It pays to know people in all industries.

I’m a the silverkris lounge and this dude is giving me the glare because he thinks I don’t belong here. WHATTTTT? A kid with an SF baseball cap wearing shorts and a plain white t-shirt is not allowed to be in a business class lounge. Pfffftt. Took a photo of him just to annoy him. FYI, the lounge is sick. Free-flow everything. Everyone here seems old though. I might have just brushed shoulders with a member of parliament from Singapore. Not like anyone here cares.

Before I continue, for the life of me, can someone tell me how to add pictures?

Every time I click on ''insert image'', they ask me to enter a URL. What URL?

You might just need a few posts to get there? Does it tell you why you cant add them? Should just be the picture icon that looks like a tree in a picture frame.

    Im interested, need more!

This was my bed for the last 18+ hours. It’s a flat bed but it still isn’t as big as my bedroom queen size bed. Hence, I wasn’t able to get a decent sleep. #firstworldproblems
The SQ crew kept feeding me throughout the flight. I drank copious amounts of champagne and even requested for Dom but they declined. 
Singapore airlines is simply the best there is to fly for long haul flights. The stewardess are usually young, the food is always in excess, solid selection of alcohol, more movies then you can watch in a year, and a seat that rivals the Mercedes S-class. I’ll let the photos do the talking.

That's only Business Class on SQ.

Trust me, First Class is way more ridiculous. FYI, flight was paid with miles, which I always think is a better deal.

I was about to check into my room in the aria when I heard screams coming from the craps table. Not one to shy away from action, I walked straight up to it with my Samsonite roller. I had some loose bills in my wallet and proceeded to change 2 bills for $25 chips. I didn’t want to take out my envelope of bills in front of the entire crowd. I can barely remembered what happened next. I don’t have any solid strategy for craps and all I know is I’m cheering for everything except a 7. But basic probability tells me to bet on 5,6, 8 and 9. When 8 was on, I followed everyone by placing odds behind the first bet and placed $25 on 5,6 and 9. I’ve got some $1s back but I’m not even sure how the croupier calculates. When the lady rolled a 5, I followed the guy on my right by pressing. I followed everything that he did except for betting the weird horn bets etc. I swear this guy rolled at least 15 times without rolling a 7. And with 1 roll, I was up this much. Is 15 rolls without a 7 common?

So you turned $200 into what looks to be close to $2000, on one shooters 15 roll hand??
Fuck, play lottery, with that kind of luck!

Thanks, yes for that moment, I changed 200 into 2k

Short intermission: I was at MBS (marina bay Sands) moments ago and this blackjack dealer basically gave me every green chip in his tray. :) uploadfromtaptalk1453436759007.jpg

Sorry missed you last night, but it looks like you had good luck. Is the blackjack here European style? Do they have a hole card?
